Spot finally secured! On a 9 acre property, 36 full season plants in Yuba county.

Trying to get strains/seeds ready right now.

Will be growing 12 of a late season, extremely hardy, high yielding sativa, from clone. trainwreck x thai x sour d .Clones will be taken in the next few days.
Also 12 of an early finishing high yielding indica. Extremely potent lemon smell. From Seed. Lets call it lemon kush.

My last 12??
I was hoping for blue dream, but this last year both people I knew with blue dream cuts didnt end up keeping clones.
Should I hit up the dispensaries and hope and pray that their blue dream clones are legit and the phenotype we want for outdoor growing here in nor cal? Or should I order new seeds tomorrow? Early-mid finisher for the last 12 preferred.

I'm placing my whole seed order tomorrow, I'm considering purchasing some Amnesia Haze just because I have seen this exact seed last year and it produced VERY well. High yield and high quality (loud smell/taste, high potency) are my qualifications. I'm extremely picky about what I let into my garden, I hate "experimenting" with new strains, waste of a hole. This isn't a garden to take risks in. I don't fool around with subpar strains, bugs, chemicals, stress.

Can anybody steer me towards PROVEN genetics for the hills (2000ft) of norcal? Blue Dream would be a shame to have to settle for, but the 8lb + yields are VERY enticing.

Anybody have any suggestions on getting 20 yards of dirt moved from one garden to another? About 60 miles away from each other, would prefer to make fewer (1 or 2) trips. I've only seen 5 yard dump trailers for rent.

Seen 6+ lb blue dream plants just north of you. Another did some green crack, tahoe and some other OG goodness. Pineapple and stinky pinky.at another spot. These are all a bit higher in elevation than you, but it's prime weather and setting for some amazing plants. Take your pick. :p

Unless you can find a work-crew to load those trailers of dirt with shovels, you might have to go ahead and rent a Bobcat pay-loader for a few hours, Zarezhu.

Wishing you the best with this project, and we're standing by for pictures of the landscape where this garden will soon materialize

most soil trucks carry exactly 20 yards…call someone with a 20 yard dump truck and have them come to the property, then rent a bobcat or backhoe and fill her up.

for strains I'm a bit north of you and green crack is the staple out here, real hardy plant and even though people hate, if grown right she comes up much better than dream or other fancy strains.

she's sold at harbor side under dream queen. but don't fuck with harborsides blue dream its watered down and not the best version.

ganja rebel seeds has real good proven outdoor genetics as well, anything with 5gs will yield big, finish early, and have great terpene profile. 5gs x BD produced some absolute monsters for a few homies this year.

Yeah, get ready for some serious work depending on your location. I unearthed boulders trying to level out our land. Check out Schrews thread of our outdoor garden last year, we live outside of Yosemite. All I can say about growing Blue Dream out here... FUCK THAT:moon: We have a higher UV index than most places and it gets pretty dry and hot during certain months. instagram intentionalmisuse, you'll see some of the beans we have to chose from this year. Going to put out a few of each.:plant grow:
