Will my yard light effect my plants wants they reach budding stage? If so can I just move them into a shadow of somthing.

if it brighter than moonlight then yes it will. even a small light can delay and disrupt flowering. best to take the bulb out or move them well out of the way

Trees in the street where my parents live are screwed due to the council changing lampposts to HPS rather than the Standard SOX bulbs.
