i love shooters, but i will have to play FEAR first, but project origin is on my "list".

they project current gen to last between 7-10 years
were 2 yrs deep into the gen...its prolly more like 6

i agree, next gen will rear its head in around 6yrs, but i dont think this gen will come to a grinding halt at that time. they need to be innovative as well as graphically pleasing or it will get to a point of aesthetic redundancy, same shit different lighting effect.
oh yea i remember graphics getting better and better on previous systems..it just shows how much we crave innovation and change nowadays

the graphics continue to get better across th board and the wii has the right idea but the wrong target audience. look at the the 360, 360 is a shooters platform so gimme a grenade lobbing "mote" or scope i can look into without having to zoom in on my screen, something innovative beyond smarter AI, better graphics and ergonomic controllers....i certainly crave it
