WWYG? (What would you grow)

So....

Recreational co-op natural light ( greenhouse) grow in colorado. Room for 8 plants. Patrons are more concerned with quality than yield.

Which 8 strains would you pick and why?

I'm running the OG Dominant pheno of Critical Kush, it's a high yielder but the main reaso. I recommend it for is its quality. Big chunky, frosty nugs, a hint of sweet with that typical og scent. Makes great bubble hash, major full melt potential and from what I've heard, it does even better outdoors.

I would also recommend Super Silver Haze to any grower. The ghs ssh I used to run was super potent. Gave me and my buddies that intense soaring high and worked great for my Crohn's, the most comfortable I've felt in a long time.

Your best bet would be to give some seeds/clones you have access to, because with how many breeders and clones are floating around it will be easier to give an opinion

Drive to denver to Kind love and pick up some clones. They are open till midnight now on the rec side. Ive grabbed 8 different strains from them over time, every time they smell and grow just as u would expect. Ive kept the durban poison, deathstar, and pineapple express for awhile along with their ISS. They drop clones pretty regularly, always healthy and pest and disease free. Best place for clones in CO in my experience and ive searched a bit. Other than that pick up some Cannarado seeds from lacontes dispensary. Hes got good gear, just pick up something with the right flavors ur looking for. That would be ur best bet for quality locally, otherwise order seeds online from the many online seedbanks. HolisticNursery is a good one, good breeders and strains, quick shipping, and ship from the US so no worries about customs boosting ur order.

Have you considered asking your patrons what they desire?
Seems that would be the best route to keeping them coming back.

Thanks for all the replies.
Co-op was a bit of an overstatement as myself and another are the totality of the interested parties. We started growing because we could, and after becoming more and more concerned about how are meds are produced. Lo and behold, it's easy cheap and fun as hell. So satisfying enjoying your own product. Friends and family benefit greatly as well, but it's our ship to sail as we please.

With that in mind, I guess I was looking for a group of 8 that would cover all our bases. Have the perfect strain for all eventualities. :)

I would choose something that I & the peeps I'm sharing with likes. Flavor of the day isn't always it.

Have you spoken w your padna to see what they may want/like.

Do you like to be high & functional or stoned n drooling on yourself or somewhere in between?
I like high & functional but need sleepers for bed time.

Are you up in the mountain, western slope, or front range? That should come into the equation when picking strains as well. I wouldn't be running off and getting some crazy sativas if you're at elevation, even though you have a greenhouse unless you plan on heating it somehow. If you are new to growing I would recommend sticking with clones at first until you get your feet wet. Search the clone list for some of these sites that were recommended and read strain descriptions for clones that they have available that sound good to you. You can also call them and they can answer basic questions. I would also recommend Karmacueticals in Denver but haven't gotten clones from there in a while so maybe somebody else can chime in about them.

Damn man that is awful hard to put a list together without knowing what you like. I guess go to the seed co and read descriptions. Then make a list and post back and get some input.

Fair enough.

Patron #1 (me) mostly likes indica heavy hybrids as I vape after work and weekends to unwind. We did a blue cheese last go round that I really dig. For me I'd like to have at least one pure indica as well as some indica heavy hybrids with different taste profiles. Strains I'm thinking of include:
OG kush
Critical kush
Kosher kush
Pineapple kush
Northern lights
GG #4
La confidential

Patron #2 is an all day everyday kind of guy. He's interested in strains which let you get stuff done.
He was really happy with the slh and tangerine dream we grew last season. We also did a jack Herer which we both love but feel it can be a little much if you have work that needs to be done. Strains he's thinking of:
Strawberry cough
Strawberry satori
Ocd
Golden goat
White widow
Super silver haze

Were in the front range and have some connections so im pretty confident we can find cuts or mail order beans of what we want.

Whadya think?
I guess the first question i would have would be which are suitable for a natural light/soil grow.

i don't think white widow is an 'all-day, get stuff done' kinda strain. super silver haze on the other hand... especially if you liked jack herer, since they are rather similar IMHO.

#2 may like some blueberry or blueberry hybrid types (for better growth / yield), great all day stuff. Chimeras BB crosses always grabbed my eye!
