well as you can tell I have roots that are brown and slimy now. this jus happened over the last week. and after I just got a control on everything else that was goin on, now I have this damn problem. what do I need to do? for those who don't know, im in a dwc, 12 gal nute solution, water temps 65F-69F, air temps 81-83F, 2 different strains in same tub, I know that's really bad. 6 weeks flowering, btw. jus need some to help me with this one now, if need more info, jus ask. thanks

Are you sure it's root rot? You using Nova? Several using this brand claim a build-up on the roots while dwc'n it. They claim no issue. I'm not using either, so...?

In my set-ups, brown-slimy roots = rot. I've done 35% h2o2 @ 5ml/gal, w 2 to 3 applications. Apply Roots Excellerator and/or Sub-Culture to your next bucket/rez (w/o any peroxide as this will kill the bene's). Just my take. Best brah.

alrighty then, that's good. they have no odor at all, so what I've read it sounds like its not an issue. I do gh 3 part( actually 2 part) nutes, is this what's doing this brown slimy crap on my roots? if then ok, I don't have another problem. thanks

i noticed a little clumping/brown on my roots :fsu:thought maybe oxygenating the water would help so inserted airstone tube directly into pump, now i see oygenated water going into my sytem. thought maybe for some of you inserting directly into pump might help oxygenate water going into whatever system you are using:woohoo:.I just gouged a small hole out of front cover inserted tube and fed directly in front of intake.at first it was impeding my pump so backed it off and know works and looks nice.
