Would this work for a sealed room?

Would using ONE cfm fan to cool both the lights and vent the smell work? Room is 12x12x8, using a 700+ CFM fan would clear the room in less than 2 minutes, and there would also be a 12,000 btu a/c. Does it seem logical?

EDIT: oops forgot to attach picture :p

your room is almost 1200CFM so the fan in theory should turn over the air in the room every two minutes but it might take more as in real life the fan would draw less air due to environmental factors like air resistance of holes and carbon.

What size is your fan in inches and what is the size of your hood's vent holes? DO you have 2 lights or four? What size bulbs will you be using?

With out all that info i'd say it should work, with out the AC maybe not but the AC will help alot.

I personally think you are going about it the wrong way. If you are using air cooled hoods you do not want to "Pull" air through them. You want to PUSH air through them? Why do you want to push and not pull? Because when you pull air through them you create a negative pressure region in the system of hoods and hoses and ducting. This causes a vacuum and it makes the air cooled hoods draw in smelly air from the grow room, which you are then venting outside. Some (not a lot, but some) of the air won't be scrubbed and you "will" smell it outside despite having a phatty carbon scrubber. The air cooled hoods (unless you are going to silicon the glass sheet/tube in there) are not 100% air tight. Just something for you to keep in mind.

I think you are better off having a
carbon scrubber->
bigfan->
splitter->
coolTubes->
outside.

As someone previously stated, this is not a sealed room due to the fact that you are gonna vent the air outside. It will totally work though. Probably quite well.

The hoods are Magnum XXXL 8", and am using 1000w hortilux bulbs. I was thinking to just air cool my lights in and out. Also have can150 filter-->8"canfan-->hose>---attic. The a/c is on a controller.
