Would this be a good setup for 2-3 (personal use)

Hey everyone. I am planning on growing a couple plants in my closet with a 250 watt hps, I can't do a 400 because space, heat, and electric bill cost all together really. I found this tent on htg supply just wondering what options you all would add at the bottom of the page check boxes for optimal growing. As I said 2 maybe 3 plants and personal use like to get a zip or more per plant biggest issue I worry about is ventilation and cost but I know a good grow setup isn't too cheap. Thanx in advance guys

I would not add any of the 'extras' or 'upgrades'

Looks like a good enough set up like it is. The only thing not there that you might need is a carbon filter and fan.

Always grow with a filter even if you are legal and in the Stix... rippers dog... they use smell to find you.

The power for the fan is like jack...

If heats the issue consider led maybe. The new white ones are very good. Good enough for reeferman to use and love

Why not go LED? The Amare Technologies SS 150 compares favorably to a 250 hps, or, get a SS 100 and later a second SS 100, which will provide more uniform umoles/m^ over the canopy

Stabilizing your environment is going to be your primary concern initially... Air exchange, air movement, filtration... these things are key in healthy growth and keeping what you grow safe. What kind of space is the tent going in? Where are you venting?
