Would love to see your DIY clone domes...

I got tired of buying those cheap clone domes, so I came-up with another way...

Available at WalMart, in the household containers section. (trash cans, storage bins...) I got a 3-pack of 'em for under $20.00. (US) The size I use are 21.5" x 15" x 7" deep

I line the bottom with aquarium gravel, instead of adding rocks to the bottom of the cups, so it sits out of the moisture. Can use the lid that comes with it for seedlings and young clones, but I got a piece of plexiglass to cover the rooted clones waiting for transplant.

Holds 12 - 1 cup pots, 6 - 1 gallon pots, or two 2 gallon pots.

Has lasted me around 4 years so far, and shows barely any wear-and-tear. I did save my last dome for taller clones, but the bins work great.

Here is a bubble cloner I made for under 20 bucks. You can get all the materials at Walmart. I now have a tub the same size as the bottom one on top as a humidity dome. You can always cut a hole in the lid and stuff it with polyfill to let them breathe with a filter for bugs and mold. I use an old pool noodle in the holes to hold clones just cut it into circles that fit in the holes I drilled.
