Just wondering if the original Skunk #1 would grow well outdoors in a humid climate compared to other strains. I'm keen to grow this strain but I'm worried about botrytis. Anyone got some insight into this?
I secretly knew this but I was hoping someone would convince me it's a good idea. Damn that sucks! I can't grow the strains I want to grow.Skunk #1 is notoriously susceptible to botrytis
Yes that is true, and now I can't grow Old Red Sour because of that very reasonTight buds are usually prone to humidity issues.
You could try some Skunk hybrids specifically bred for mold resistance such as Shaman from Dutch Passion or Kiwiskunk from Kiwiseeds.I secretly knew this but I was hoping someone would convince me it's a good idea. Damn that sucks! I can't grow the strains I want to grow.

Thanks for the recommendation.Lemon Skunk would be a better choice.Limonene has antifungal properties.
From my experience Skunk#1 is very vulnerable for molds in humid climates.
