Worried about my little ones

Hi everybody

my name is selenas, and i figured something is wrong with my girls.
This is my first time growing so i am of corse a bit worried about my
little ones.

seeing a thing i cant really explain, something seems wrong with my
leafes. but i cant put my finger on it. tried a mag. glass already, no mites in sight or any other form of animal around. *shrug* (no eggs also, spent a hour just trying to see if its that)

may be something else.

they are now one week and two days old since i got them.

medium is some coconut thing the local grow-shop recommended.
using only bio nova products from the same series that go with it (canna nova a+b, ….).

water is ph'd at 6 (Stable).

as for watering: after washing my hands => ring finger in the soil -> if it feels dry => water. They drink up about 150ml to 210 ml of water every 1 to two days (increasing as of late).

i know i had a issue with a bit too much fertilizer in the water, that mistake has been corrected, and from the color of the new branches i think its ok now.

still cant put my finger on whats wrong with some of the leaves tho.

plants are:
->sweet tooth no.4
->chronic

setup:
-400watt hps in a 1 by 1 meter grow box, with venting that is ok, 2 fans inside the box (removed for the photo's)

temperatures:
-always between 24 to 27 degrees celsius

lighting:
as they are in veg 18/6 ofc.

setting:
there is a bit of background noise aside format he fans, but i doubt that is going to cause a problem as its below 10db
box sits in a dedicated room. nothing fancy, just a 13square meter room, that i plan utilize for grow boxes. room has been properly cleaned and disinfected before the grow.

thats as much as i got on my mind right now, please do feel free to point out if i am missing something.
and if you have any clue what that is i am seeing here, it would be really helpful to get more info on it.

pics:
here we see that i used too much fertilizer

this has been adressed, as it can be seen by the now correct color:

my leaves:

also i could swear i saw a few white dots on the upper side, but
they seem to be gone by now.
The sides of the leaves are lighter colored then the middle, altho only by a bit.

after all i am still a beginner
greetings from amsterdam

Hi selenas,

It might be a slight calcium / magnesium deficiency. You dont mention what Total Dissolved Solids you're feeding. Do you have a TDS meter?

Also some types of coco require a pre-treatment of cal/mag. What is the trade name of your coco?

You might also consider dropping your Ph to 5.5ish. Growing in coco is essentially hydroponic because the coco contains no natural nutes.

Relax, they look fine and you have plenty of time to dial them in.

hi,

need to look up the brand name as soon as i get home after graveyard shift.

i'll look into the calcium/magnesium thingie.

as for tds meters, it will be the first thing i get tomorrow.

and last but not least. why would i drop my ph to the lower end of the spectrum? i have read a lot of reports and most guys seem to go for a ph of 6 instead of 5.5 . my only idea is that that may slow down the intake of "food" for the plants, but then again i wonder what that would do to the medium.

because you're growing in coco not soil
