worried about budrot how to get H down?

Hi guys it's flowering time for me using a aeroponic and small tent so the Humidity is abnormal. I have a Humidity of 47-55% during lights on and 53-65% when the lights is off.
I was wondering if theres a big chance of getting budrot if the Humidity in the tent is like that ? specially sometimes if the AC is off for a few hours it goes up to like 70%. :(
Maybe I should keep the AC runnin all through the lights off cycle?
I dont have money right now to buy a dehumidifier so what can I do?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

airflow...make sure you have enough air displacement and keep a fan on them @ all times to keep air moving within the tent...fresh air in and fresh air out. hope that helps you out . good luck

I have a fan pushing fan in to the cooltube and one extract then another outside fan for sucking air out through a filter. I also have one big fan inside the tent circulating the air. The strange thing is when I set the speed higher on the circulating fan the humidity gets higher..

botryitis aka bud thrives in colder (60s n 70s) temp higher humidity (60%+) settings. if u cant lower rh, try raising temps a little.

if you have high humidity outside the tent then your going to have a hard time bringing it down w/out a dehumidifier...thing with them is they create heat too so you have to compensate for that as well. myself I had to swap over to lites on at nite which helped my humidity levels as well as temps was alot easier to keep in range. I hope you get this figured out. grow on

ah dam okay wont it hurt my plants if I change the lights on to night time I have lights on during the day now hmmm thanks for the suggestions guys ... mowood3479 so I should try get temp to go up during lights off I dont think it will help usually when temp goes up the humidity does aswell I had AC on during lights off and H was down to 53%

It depends highly on the strain. I've grown white widow and grand daddy purps right next to each other and the white widow was untouched while the gdp completely rotted out. Your humidity sounds fine. Cannabis thrives in 75-80 degree temps with 50% humidity. Out doors here the humidity shoots up to the 80 to 100 percent every night and people grow weed here every where. Bud rot is an issue though for some of them.

Okay thanks for all the input on my threads CoastalKind. appreaciate some expert advice as this is my first indoor n outdoor grows:) the AC thing works however during a few hours I have to power the AC off to let it rest is that okay if during the 24 hours in the day 2-3 hours or 1-2 hours the H shoots up to 70% or so?

Your humidity isn't bad. I run around 50 in bloom and haven't had botrytis. Even 70 isn't too bad as long as it's intermittent.

Make sure you have good circulation. You should be able to see the light on the floor. Branches shouldn't touch. Tightly packed colas or overlapping branches are good botrytis habitats.

Prune lowest branches &Tie big branches to open up canopy.

I've only had it once. It was in the biggest colas. You can see the pin leaves dying from the tip inward. If you see one, gently pull on it. If it comes right out there is rot in that bud. Open it and investigate.

Also, keep a clean grow area. Remove all organic debris like dead leaves.

And

The humidity rises with fan because the air is blowing on water in the trays, pots, leaves etc causing the water to evaporate faster.

Okay great info Thanks RonSmooth.
But the fan should blow on the leaves no or should I point the fan so it doesnt blow on the top part?
Yea I always remove leaves dead debries n clean in the place under the scrog I have trimmed alot of leaves aswell but where the colas are coming out it's pretty packed I should try to tie some of them away from eachother. Is it bad to take of fan leaves in the higher places in order to open up the canopy more (the fan leaves that are not dying but are like touching eachother n blocking light going further down?
