I am doing a modified bed grow this time around, my space is 4 x 2 x 7.5, i ahve a 600 w hps, my bed is 3 feet long 2 feet wide and 2 tall, and holds about 200 liters of soil . . . i was wondering what method of training i should do, i am trying to get maximum yield to convince me to continue the bed design instead of DWC . . another kicker in the question is a 6 strain grow, 4 very berry surprise, 1 Jamaican blue mountain,Malaca Thai Pura, 1 Nigeria/Manali x Afghanistan, 1 Brasil/Colombia x India Norte, 1 Northern Lights x Colombia/Manali. . . it should be quite the experience. . . so please, all input is welcome, thanks lovelies .. .
peace and love

If you are going to plant all those seeds in the same bed of sand then I would reccomend GROWDOC's method.
Growdoc plants 100's of seeds in a bed of sand and does not TOP or LST, They just grow as is and make beautiful fantastic resinoustall singular colas in something like 70 days.
(he flowers them after 10 days.) check out his fantastic threads and his amazing methods.
If you plant 1 seed per pot- then I would reccomend toping the seedlings when it has 4 apparent leaves- as well as tying them down when the plant is big enough to tie down. This way the plants branch out beautifully.

It comes down to what you want to do...if you want big yield it depends on alot of things, veg time, light intensity and depth, temp, nutes, CO2, strain, etc. Right now I'm doing supercropping on the main-stalk between nodes 4 or 5 early in flower. I like LST, just haven't tried it...but I've seen it do great results. You could even do a SCRoG. Top um, crop um and grow um and go for an even canopy is my :2cents:

Hey rastamonunika with the # of plants you are growing, why not try a different technique on several different plants? You may even want to try scrogging one. Then you should be able to determine for future grows what works best. Be advised tho that some strains supposedly always do better as single cola plants.

Just a thot.

thanks everyone for the help, as for the trying knew things on all of them, i have 5 strains growing from all walks of life (sativa indica) and have my hands full using a modified version of GrowDoc's method. . . Im going for yield and quality (quality above yield of course) thanks for the input im thinkin of going with topping for the even canopy, but once again, 5 dif strains from all over, will be difficult. . . thanks for the love, be safe veryone
