Do you guys know most cops? I don't. and I doubt most of them hate anybody just for growing. I think they do what the're told just like soldiers do in the military.

:kos:

That said there is good and bad in the world and good and bad L.E.O.

What we need is a change in policy.

As cannabis becomes more prevalent there will be resistance. Get a good attorney and fight.

There's no other course. In my opinion bad mouthing all L.E.O. because of the actions of a few is ignorant.

I base my opinions on experience. 3.5 decades working next to the.......Leo... And being hunted by the shock troopers. On what are you basing your opinion on?
There are many other courses.

TheRealHash you are a moron. Save these fine people the brain cells and shut the hell up about things you know nothing about.

The police are a gang, the most violent law braking gang that there is. Wear the same clothes, drive the same car, live by the same code. I sure as hell will lump them all in together. They have all taken an oath to strip me of my freedom.
And fight them with a good lawyer?!?! CLEARLY you have never had to hire/pay for A laywer.

This is really sad and makes me wonder if the pig that saw me in a shop suspects me of something for buying a commonly used (for any plant) organic ammendment. Ridiculous!
So if you buy a bucket at Home Depot that means you are going to make a little cloner out of it for pot plants? There are 1001 uses for bone meal or worm castings or buckets or whatever. How this shit can even be used for further investigation is beyond me, assinine to say the least! It should be legal to sue not only the jurisdiction involved (city or state or whatever), but the cops and judges involved too, who should all lose everything and be thrown out on the street over this! No human deserves that, but these are scum and should be treated as such.

Well, yes, I agree about needing a change in policy.

But as long as many police departments have a culture where excessive use of force is rewarded, then profiling works.

i.e. it becomes wise to avoid ALL cops, because the ones that are pigs have been empowered to ruin, not your day, but your Life.

The fact that some of them are honest blokes sort of becomes secondary. It may be a statement of fact, but it doesn't make them any less worth avoiding.

Also, the more they tolerate the bullying of the more bullying cops, the more times they intimidate and terrorize citizens whilst 'just doing their jobs' ... it's like the job changes them.

Which reminds me of Chris Dorner. (I drive a white truck, so it got a little personal). When they were looking for his white truck, I was driving north on 5, back in Feb. 2013 or earlier in 2012, I forget when it happened.

Dorner spoke up on behalf of homeless people that were beat up by LAPD. That got him in hot water.

Speaking up for the Bully-ee, instead of being silent and letting the Bullies bully, got him railroaded out of the department.

Short version -

Avoid cops, assume they are pigs, even if they're not.

Move to a statethats legal...until it is legal the feds and local inbred police force will do whatever they want....and again when it is legal the feds and local or state inbred police force will still do what they want

CPS snatched infant because of legal medical marijuana prescription

"Why are you doing this?" the mom cried as government agents coldly took away her family.

NAPA, CA — A man was placed into handcuffs, a woman sobbed uncontrollably, and their 11-month-old boy was seized by social workers and put into foster care — all because of legally prescribed medical marijuana. It didn’t matter that no law had been broken; Child Protective Services has the power to split apart families in an instant without a trial, and regularly does across the country.

This heartbreaking situation happened to California couple Shawnee Anderson, 27, and Aaron Hillyer, 34. After a nosy neighbor called the police because of a loud argument, cops arrived and found doctor-prescribed cannabis — legal for medicinal use in a total of 20 states.

The couple tried to explain that the plant material was not a crime, and that the couple had state-issued Medical Marijuana ID Cards. But the cops “didn’t want to see them.” What’s more, they wanted to remove take their son, Sage, away from them. The police called for CPS to arrive at the scene.

“I was pleading with them, ‘Look, you guys, I understand your perception, but we are wonderful parents, hardworking members of our community,’” Hillyer told CNN. “They could not conceive of the fact that you can be a wonderful parent, a decent human being, and medicate with marijuana.”

“Why are you doing this?” Anderson tearfully asked the government agents as she watched her family being split apart before her eyes.

“Your baby doesn’t need to be subjected to marijuana,” an officer retorted, in a recording made on a cell phone. The fact that the house was messy, with an odor of cannabis, was enough for the government to break apart the family.

Aaron Hillyer was arrested and 11-month-old Sage was put into foster care. The family describes it as the hardest thing they could imagine — their baby was given away to strangers. They would not be reunited for 12 days.

The commonly-used cannabis plant is an easy target for child-snatching agencies — even if it is legal. The agency can deem virtually anything “abusive” or “neglectful” at their discretion. The targets of CPS are punished first, then attempt to prove their innocence later. The American tradition of treating people as if they are “innocent until proven guilty” is lost on CPS.

“There are families out there … destroyed over a medicinal plant,” said Hillyer to CNN. “It’s baffling.”

Baffling — yet the stories are numerous. Many decent families face harassment and separation because of the plant. Fellow California parents, Scott and Sara Rolick, had their daughter seized when the grandfather allegedly used cannabis as medicine. Sometimes just advocating for a political position on marijuana is enough to bring down a state investigation of a family — as the Petro family of Florida is discovering.

Many more of these tragic stories can be expected as long as CPS is allowed such broad powers and as long as the Drug War continues to devastate Americans.

I thought that the DEA would have their hands full pursuing all of the Mexican narcotraficantes that are the scourge of our country, instead they target a mom.

Why not have your local drug task force deal with this case?

You'll never see my ass step foot in another hydro store that is for sure.

No reason not to visit the hydro store just go in another vehicle!Take a bus,cab..Something support your local business.Pay cash

Apart from borrowing someones car how would one travel a long distance to a hydro store ?

Taking a bus or even a cab is not really reasonable, renting a car you would have to have it in your name.

I don't know about ordering online but even that doesn't seem that secure. I wanted to get some soil and some cheap natural nutes at some point for this summers vegetable garden. I'd find it even more nerve racking trying to order a carbon filter if it was needed.

Youre right.. park down the street.. etc.. I agree with the cash, keep it untraceable.

I like to use cutouts.. or somebody that isn't growing at the time, have them pick up supplies.. Or bum a ride from somebody, hey I need to pick up some supplies.. ;) I dont mess around either.. I buy at least a years supply of whatever. I gotta minimize my exposure.. Its not the LEO im worried about its rippers too. Its too easy to get addresses nowadays.

There is this one place in town that has other supplies other than just hydroponics, so I just blend in with the other people.

This kind of thing happens all the time in non legal states. The only thing that seems weird about the article is that the raid involved the DEA. I didn't think they had the resources to go after personal growers.
