I wonder how many people have actually been busted from them doing this unlawful harassment, I would guess more than a few that we probably will never hear about.

Everybody that gets pushed around just needs to take the proper legal route.

:kos:

Push back with a good attorney.

Unfortunately their job requires them to betray their clients.

attorn
at·torn [uh-turn] Show IPA Law.

attorn
verb (used without object)

1.

to acknowledge the relation of a tenant to a new landlord.

verb (used with object)

2.

to turn over to another; transfer.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Origin:
1425–75; late Middle English attournen < Anglo-French attourner, Old French atourner to turn over to. See at-, turn

When you request one it is you who is betrayed and turned over to another as human property. It is the modern feudal system.
I don't expect everyone to examine the finer points of the "law",but words have meanings and they are important. The lawyers have made a language called legalese for the sole purpose of trafficking human beings through fraud and they are not your friend.

Shame it is not this easy to round up the bastards that caused the 2007 mortgage recession, I bet none of them had to wake to a cop with a gun in their face, why not?
Because Cannabis criminals are "really dangerous", while the bastards that stole trillion's are living in luxury, as "good Americans".
If I believed karma worked, they would deserve a little instant karma.
But most likely they will die a peaceful death and give all their ill gotten gains to their children or to their political cronies that made the rules that allowed this to happen in the first place. Americans do not learn from their past, a real shame...
A good example is the stock market today when you buy stock it maybe sold to you via a computerized trading program that spots the demand for a given stock buys it milliseconds before you place the order and then sells it to you a small profit for them, you may say what's a few cents per share? Well times millions and millions of transactions all done in seconds they find a way to make millions of dollars, by basically getting them selves between the buyer and seller for a nano second, thats all it takes.
Ain't America great? The stock exchanges know all this they set it up so the computerized traders have a mill-second advantage for fees paid to the stock market.
Get rid of the inequality and give all traders equal access and the problem is gone. Maybe they need some cops to show up with guns to disconnect their computers? Oh thats right they are too busy chasing suspected pot growers that were not even growing pot, all to keep us safe at night.
What a sick joke....

The mortgage people won't be prosecuted the because the government is the one who sponsors and monitors all mortgage activities. When government screws up, it just screw it's subjects and blames them, it's never been any different.
I would know.

Find it hard to understand why growers use hydro shops in non legal states or countries , if you keep it quiet and tell nobody else then it seems an unnecessary risk , the only point of contact where you could come to their attention.

You are making it easy for them , and police are as lazy as the rest of us.

Everything you really need rather than what advertising tells you is needed can be sourced elsewhere , usually cheaper , with a little effort , rather than high mark-up products of dubious and unproven efficacy.

A friend with a similar room and the same genetics gets about 20% more than me when grown for yield , and spends a small fortune on bulbs and nutes to achieve it.

Unless you are determined to squeeze out the maximum possible yield I would avoid them , even here where the penalties are relatively low.

There has been a huge increase in these shops in the UK in the last few years , a local one is run by a real scumbag who used to sell drugs to children and some are an obvious money laundering exercise.

My 2 cents? They need to do the only thing that the DEA/LEO/judges/whatever listens too? MONEY. Sue their asses off in public court. I'm talking at least hundreds of thousands. Name everybody involved. Don't settle. Cost them big....That is the only thing that will actually do anything.

Same problem with any low value and heavy product , fixed rate for a tonne pallet can often bring it down to an acceptable level.

I use a local garden centre/nursery that has a good unbranded mix at a low price , very cheap if you can accept by the cubic metre loose or by the tonne , suitable nutes as dry salts are a good buy , wet nutes are convenient but contain mostly water in an expensive bottle that cost more than the product inside.
If they use it to raise and pot up their own plants its likely to be good enough for canna.

Add silvaperl from a builders merchant , used for insulation , lightweight concrete and flue backfill its the same product but generally cheaper than a hydro outlet.

Electrical factor provides lights and fans and all the other bits , though you probably wont find the latest spectrum bulbs or LED arrays they are cheap enough to change out the standard bulbs more often.

Aquarium supplier carries most of what is needed for hydro , and quality leds.

The cops are probably disappointed there wasnt a 15 year old wag tail Lab to shoot as it tried to lick them to death.

What if she had been growing a couple cannabis plants in her closet for pain relief or insomnia? Raiding her home and waking her up in bed at gunpoint would have been justified then?

Exactly. It's like wtf? Why the fuck are these cops so pussy they have to do a no nock raid on a sleeping lady by herself. This nazi behavior is way to fucking standard. The dea needs to be completely abolished. This this is fucking ridiculous. Fucking fascist mother fuckers gotta go. I hope crack dealers shoot them in the fucking face.

The real answer is for people to work for legalized personal growing as part of a broader legalization effort. Find out what groups in your State are working for legalization, work with them, support them, get personal growing as part of a package deal.

That's what we've done in CO, and incidents like the subject of this thread have become a thing of the past, likely to stay that way. Couples are allowed 12 plants, 6 in flower, no at home possession limit. I strongly advocate observing those limits, but the truth is that people growing more are very unlikely to be busted for that alone but rather for dealing. Obtaining a cannabis related search warrant in CO isn't easy, at all, nor is the smell of cannabis in any form grounds for it. A64 & federal guidelines disallow it almost entirely.

Support for legalization is broader than one might think, but the devil is in the details. There are some serious & seemingly necessary compromises in A64, like plant count limitations. OTOH, only people whose consumption is *Huge* really feel any pinch in that. You just have to become a better grower to achieve greater yield. We have med & rec sales, too, just in case your growing skills fall short.

Not that it really makes sense, but the rest of America doesn't seem ready to let us grow all we want, so it's necessary to humor them & offer sin tax revenue on retail sales as additional inducement. It's the price we had to pay to be able to grow our own in peace.

From the perspective of somebody who just wants to grow & enjoy their own herb, to share & to gift, it's the deal of the Century.

Just when you think we have it bad. Try owning cattle in America. Or just thinking you are free and you will be quickly reminded where you are on the food chain.

I would like to believe that this is going to turn out ok for this guy but he will be murdered. The police will say ,policy and procedure was followed ,and the court will rule with the police.

Nothing will be said by the public ,it will be business as usual. I only post this to remind you guys/gals the legal status of smoking and growing MJ is a symptom of a larger problem. Slavery.

A Ruby Ridge-style standoff is brewing in Nevada, where dozens of armed federal agents are closing in on cattle rancher Cliven Bundy over claims that Bundy has allowed his cows to graze illegally on government land, endangering a protected species of tortoise.

It almost seems like they're doing this to scare people off from going to hydro-stores.

Mission accomplished.

I'm grateful for the original post.

Op Green Merchant, Oct 26 1989, worth web-searching.

(UPS shipping from grow stores led to massive coordinated raids).

I started growing before Prop 215 passed. In the late 1980's there were many un-written un-spoken rules about grow store etiquette.

I NEVER drove to one, always took mass transit.

Cops can be pigs even in Medical Marijuana states. So this article will inspire me to be more discreet.

Sure looking forward to the end of Persecution of Marijuana Growers ... but I won't hold my breath.

Maybe Marijuana Consumption & Growing should be classified as a Religion ? In some ways I think it is.

Most cops are assholes maybe they didn't start out as assholes but they see the worst in people and get conditioned. I was in the BJJ community here in LA for over 15 years I've known a lot of cops, gang task force, chp etc etc over the years cool dudes off the clock but i'm sure somebody somewhere thinks they are assholes. I'm probably in the wrong area we have possibly the worst assholes leo in all of the U.S. other than those bart cops up in the Bay those guys appear to be major league dikks....most cool guys I know became Firemen the guys that were bully jocks or guys that got bullied in high school ended up becoming you guessed it ...Cops
