Is ot possible to rewire a window shaker to a programable thermostat? I have for first time window ac unit in my room. As i enter late flower and lower temps, i would like to lower temp setting lower at night than day. Wasnt an issue in mid flower as i ran day temp in upper 80s w co2 but as i cool that down to mid to low 70s thats ambiemt temp so im getting no swing.... not sure i need one but thats for a diff thread....

You would have to open the unit and bypass the internal digital thermostat that controls the contactor/relay. Then wire a new programmable thermostat to the contactor/relay. If you have the model number I can probably show you how do it.

Turn the window unit on full blast maximum setting. Assuming it will restart at this setting after a power interruption, you can use a line voltage t-stat, smart plug, or get a 24v transformer and relay and control the relay with a standard hvac programmable stat.

I will get it for you, i think it would be really nice to have full programable capabilities... and im not uncomfortable working on the guts of things amd such. I appreciate it and will get the model...

I may try the relay set up if what hvac guy gets me aeems to complex, but really i think it sounds simpler if you can just wire in a programable right into the unit...

On the lux pro i looked at it touted a 5/2 day schedule, but that just allows me to do diff on week3nd obviously wouldnt but it has option for x temp from given time to given time then y temp from this time to this time? My ac unit did say it would restart in same mode it was in after power fauilure.
