yes it can be done. it is also inviting leo into your house. do not grow on your window sill even if you are prop 215 compliant a grower doesnt need this kind of attention.

I doubt it,like adorno said it depends on where your at.but if your gonna start from seed, theres a 10 percent chance it will make it,if that.If your working with clones, then yes theres a higher ratio of it surviving, the lack of light coming through the window, would cause the little plant to stretch to much, and become to weak to stay up.get a couple cfl's if your just trying to test the waters,it should be enough for about a month, and then youll need to upgrade your light.unless your living over in cali or something,i say dont got for it

i would have thought the sun would give if not more light, better light then anything us humans can create. diluted natural light or
man made artifical light

yeah the sun is more powerful then most indoor lights used, but at this time of the year you only get so many hours of light and the few hours of light that there is,isnt that powerful.Which is why i said artifical light would work better,as you could give your young plant 24 hours of light as opposed to 3 hours,as stated before it depends on where you live, you might get more then 3 hours of direct sunlight, but i dont.Even if your just trying to keep your setup small a couple compact flourescents would be good for a plant for up to a month atleast, anything after that you could probally set in the window and it would be fine from there,as it would be march and by that time, most plants are out anyway.hope everything goes good for you, whatever your decision may be.later

growing in a windowsill is usually a waste of your time....

I think I remember seeing maybe one actual ok decent window sil grow on OG. And even that was real airy and shit.

i have a back porch secluded from neighbors and the rest of the house. It gets lots of sun at noon and late afernoon. I thought about putting a plant there to see how it would do.. have to wait a few months though.
