window A/C built into 3k cab

Looking to run a 6.5x8' 3k stadium.. I bought a 10" Max Can with 10x39 phresh filter, and planned to run it in cab, with a window A/C mounted in the same room. That would make the rest of the 9x13' room a lung to the cab..

After seeing a few rooms with window bangers connected into their custom built cabs, I was wondering if I can do this without complication..? And just sit the fan/filter down somewhere on a speed controller for odor control..

Appreciate any help:thank you:

seen it done.. people skimp on the size of box to put around the back of the ac.. id make a decent size maybe 3 times as big as the AC.. and put a 8in inline atleast 500cfm to pull that heat out and iuno i dont think it would be that bad honestly. just need to understand how an AC works.. and were u need the air to go and come from .. ive seen people running an AC all day.. and not having the right ventilation made it a waste of money.

Seems like more than I thought was entailed..
Probably be easier just putting it in the window and using it to condition the lung space..
The last application of one I remember, the person had it on his cab and actually had NOTHING around the back half including removal of the shell(internals visible)
Response appreciated for sure though BG:tiphat:

I think that this is a much better idea, And is axactly what I did at my old place. Window shaker kept the room holding a 15 Sq ft cab 68f. Passive intake with active exhaust thru the cab kept canopy temps less than 78f.

I think that if ya installed your ac thru the wall of your "cab" and had the fan/scrubber inside the cab (without any real exhaust), you would need to add CO2, as it would now be concidered a "sealed room".

Hey aqua grower thanks for the response..
6.5x8 is considerably larger than 15sqft and what was the wattage in that cab..? And size of extraction fan?
Even so, going this route I'd hope my canopy temp is less than 10* over that of the ambient temp in same room .. Exchanging air twice per min or more..
My 6.5x8x7=364 cu ft
10" can max is rated at 1k+ cfm (I believe off memory)
And minus a bit for the drag of the filter...

Would be much more convenient running a/c in cab though.. with assurance from experience.:tumbleweed:

My old flower box was approx 3x5x5. Was lit with 2-400 hps, and vented back into the room with a 6" vortex. Scrubber was the DIY built in this thread: https//www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=29402

The fan was turned down using a "solid state speed controller". Also in the room housing the flower box was my veg system lit by 240 watts floro.

If you're running the air thru your cab 2x per min and can controll the ambient in the lung area, you're golden.
