Will this work as a grow tent?

I'm thinking of purchasing this "wardrobe" and converting it into a grow tent.

My main question is if i were to paint the inside with several coats of white paint, will the interior be sufficiently reflective?

Also, would a single 4" computer fan installed at the top, with passive vent at the bottom, provide enough air exchange?

Thanks in advance. I think this could be a really cost effective DIY tent for one or two plants! Let me know what you think!

I would say that it would be a poor choice, spend another $50 for a much better suited tent. For starters, it has no bottom in it! How are you going to stop light/water leaks? how do you plan on getting vents into and out of it, in a sealed manor?

As for trying to vent it with a computer fan, that isn't going to work if you have anywhere near the proper light levels. Even that little tent would need at least 200w in it. Not going to cool that with a muffin fan.

Thanks for the advice! I'm planning on getting 300W LED light for an area about this size and i didn't think i would need such powerful ventilation (hence the computer fan(s))
The idea is to make a 1-2 plant grow tent, running on one main LED lamp, and maybe some support from full spectrum LED light strips around the sides during flowering.
Is this feasible?

. For starters, it has no bottom in it!

This was the first thing i thought when i looked at the link. I would also be concerned on how flammable that thing may be... Along with how light tight the fabric may be. Also you have to take in to account how secure that thing would be once youve gutted the middle out to fit your plants in.

As OldPhart said, you would be much better of spending abit more money to buy yourself a 2x2 tent and stick a proper 4 inch fan in there along with a carbon filter.

The computer fan wont move enough air and there is no way it would be able to handle a carbon filter.

250w HPS would be perfect for that space, or the LED you mentioned would work fine in a 2x2 space.

I know how tempting it can be to try save money and do things on a budget. I had the same mentality when i first started out, however ive learnt the hard way over the years its better to spend the money and set things up properly rather than trying to cut corners.

A 2x1.5x5 or a 2x4x5 grow tent on eBay cost $65.00 or less, ... No cutting, no painting and she's ready to go.
