Will this be enough ventilation?

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and new to indoor growing. I have grown outdoors for years but now my circumstance has changed and I must make the switch to inside.

I have plans to build a cupboard and grow in there. the space will measure

H 2.7 meters W 2.4 meters D 1.0 meter

I have made a simple diagram of the ventilation I was planning. I will be growing initially with one light probably a 315 Watt CMH fixture and using only half the space for plants while I learn to grow. I have plans to add a second light and use the whole space once I get my inside skills up.

ok the question is, will a 200mm hyperfan with passive intake be enough of a main ventilation system for the area? It is rated at 710 cfm and I will have several smaller fans circulating the area.

Cheers.

Hard to say for certain (depends on ambient temps) but I'd say yes a 700cfm fan should be enough using just the 315 w cmh.. Id suggest a dry run. Set things up without the plants and see what temps ur getting.

Like said above. It should be.
Need to get it all set up and run it without plants and check the temp.

Thanks for the input mowood and nk14, its good to hear that I am on the right track, I will most definitely do a "dry run" and test it all.

Cheers Snook, the hyperfan comes with a speed controller, so got that one covered.

I'll put a diary up when I get going and post any more questions as they come up.

Cheers ICMag community!
