Seeing how Durban is becoming trendy , I thought this post would be appreciated . I was fortunate enough to have been to Amsterdam several times in the late 90’s . I bought 2 packs of Durban directly from Sensi Seed bank . The Pheno I am chasing looks NOTHING like the Dutch Passion offering . Or the one in Colorado currently used in crosses. The one I found in both packs had sativa structure . Golden calyxes that foxtailed . Kinda like a Dr Grinspoon structure . Done in early October outside . Looked like peas stacked on a stick . Tasted like straight anise , crazy potent , no ceiling.
I have been through numerous seed banks in the 2000’s .. including Sensi and DP to no avail . The Dutch Passion version was ok at best . The Sensi version was total hay . I went through at least 5 packs to no avail .
So my question is , does she exist anywhere as I remember her ? Does anyone remember this Durban as I do or did I find a rare Pheno ? I wish I knew what I knew now , I would have preserved her . People are still talking about the plants I had .
