You know the Michigan big wigs are flipping out trying to find a way to fund road improvement and there's 2 bills sitting right next to them that if they opened there eyes and stopped scratching there heads they may be able to figure this out. Not that these bills would help. But for gods sake LEGALIZE! Road problems fixed.

Yes they did no big surprise I guess. Especially with them focusing on the road bill. Did you read some of the crap opposers were saying. Ridicuilous! So we wait again.

Nope no surprise at all. When your enemies are writing the rules you are gonna get screwed. Ask the Jews how having the nazies write the laws worked out.

And no, not everyone is just waiting.

True I understand that things are tolerated in some places here in Mich and some way more than others.lol Here in the Grand Rapids area not so much. I really would like edibles, oils and such LEGALIZED again.

Next year we can expect an even worse playing field. They squashed us. They are waiting for the Schedule on Cannabis to change, make it a Personal-No-Grow medical Marijuana program. Then cash in with crappy pot from Prairie Plant Systems, who has already been retained and contracted to be the producer, in the BILL THAT THEY DID SIGN 11 months ago, at the same time the HB5471 was also agreed to. But, 5471 has been soundly ignored and Us manipulated. I'm pissed off. We voted for dispensaries. It's blatant tyranny. By Soul-Less Creatures. So, Grandmas who need meds are forced to go to 8 mile. Great. Well done.

Yes sir, it's gonna get worse.
CPS smells money. So the schools smell 'weed' on our kids.

Now that the Feds have to abide by state law what's the holdup?

As far as the medical deal. In the future your trying to tell me that basically if your prescribed MM. You would go to the Pharmacy and pick up your mass grown half ass medication. So I take it your insurance should cover that then right?

Im not buying it. They're not going to make it so we can't grow medical marijuana in the state. In fact I believe it will be completely legalized before the above happens. That's not saying you may not have the option of getting "prescribed" medication paid for through insurance.

I believe it is over for personal growers. If the locality one is in happens to be tolerant, then life's good, until it's not. In other places, well, it is safe to say that Asset Forfeiture "Arrests" (no one technically arrested, assets taken/stolen, cash found gets undervalued and taken by LEO) will continue. This could be seen as a "good boy" pat on the back to LEO.

I really hope we all of us can get together and keep growing in the hands of us the people not the govt. I really dont want legalization anymore after seeing our food industry go down hill. Imagine pot ? you think the govt really cares about us lol pesticide central or some other weird shit. I want no legalization and I want us to keep growing underground. The govt shouldnt be allowed to take any part in the actual production of medicine it should be all independent companies obviously supervised.

WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO ESTABLISH THE LAWS NOT THE GOVT

I highly disagree with you on this. Thousands of people in this state have invested millions of dollars in personal grows. No one's going to come in and say alright shut it all down you can't use this equipment you spent thousands of dollars and any more. Just not going to happen.

I do agree that legalization could be more problems than what it may seem. But I truly believe its headed that way.

Can someone please help me understand what all this means? These bills had very good bipartisan support I thought. They needed to pretend to be for these bills in a secret plot to crack down on little med growers? I`m not finding a lot of info on what it means when they don`t get around to passing a bill at the last minute. I`m new to MI. Thanks

The way I see it is the only reason certain law enforcement groups don't want these bills passed is they want the revenue from charging people with ridiculous marijuana charges. Also the lawyers want the revenue for defending these ridiculous charges. We the people are the only ones to gain from these bills passing. So go figure! They seem to be very concerned about PEOPLE "legally" making a living off of medical marijuana.

^^^ and they raised (collectively) hundreds of thousands on these bill (stakeholders, i.e., dispensary owners). Im not really in loop so don't have the actual figures, just based on what one guy was 'contributing' to the overall group(s) of them. Whatever the real dollar figure (could it actually be a cool mil?), that money went to lobbyists, politicians & staff. By spinning the wheels & bringing in the cash, feigning the resolve to 'make it happen' this session... even if it doesn't pass (no biggie), they get another batch of cash for next session's contributions & efforts. It has to be a shared understanding of 'how things work' in the game of political professionals.

Bush... think its gonna b harder to pass next year as its a bunch of republicans. They can play the above hand so many times (although they r playin a bunch of money grubbing potheads & all), and have to eventually do something (though they do prefer to wait for the prairie plan to become a reality). Its to their mutual advantage to stall & wait, but lookin busy... that's their biz/source of income. If we get one next year, it will likely be amended heavily from this last round... imo. Limbo aint all that bad tho... it means another year to get into position.

Thanks MIway. I went and talked to the guy who runs the local medical evaluation place and he said there is another one in the works April 2015.

Easy, Biscuit... My 11th year being "off the grid here and in CA (not electrically)." No towels thrown in here... Bummer that we remain criminals in Michigan. I would like to NOT have to lay low as much, and/or rely on the filters and ONA so much, but that's for now. If we can get a vote on a Presidential Election Year, I am sure we will take the majority necessary. WAIT... We already voted..?

How can We get the S & S team out of the way...? They want the dough (Prairie Plant Systems deal of Jan '14) - and they do not want US to have it - or the clout that dough brings.

Tired 'Ol "Billie Shootie Himself in the Foot." And "Snidely Whiplash." I will not roll over for them - I believe in what I do, and love my lifestyle - can only Improve - without interference, of course.
