the plants spent most of their vegetative life with no shade cloth to build biomass, in the last week or two the heatwaves have made it necessary to put up the shade cloth (IMO) and they seem to grow/stretch/transition to flower just as vigorously.
my orginal plan was to pull back the shade cloth once they were well into the flower period in order to allow for max. yeild and resin/etc, but photosynthesis takes a nose dive at around 86F (30C). so does it make sense that keeping temps optimum for phtosynthesis will outweigh the 20% of light blocking that occurs from shade cloth?
