Will my cut taken late in flower switch back to opposing nodes?

As the question states, i have a cut taken late in flower when the nodes are well into alternating pattern, i have serious height issues in this mom cab so i keep her abut 1 foot tall and take cuts from ruffly the same point on the plant. (I done this twice.)

This is my first time with a mum cab i was wondering if the new growth ever FULLY reverts back to vegetative stage with opposing nodes and all.

How far into flower? I've taken cuts up to 3 weeks into flower with no big issues except the time it takes to revert back to veg.

No, but it's not a big deal and will do fine if you can get the clone to root.

For calcification the mum i currently have was taken from a plant that was 6 weeks into flower. ZZTops give me the answer i was looking for, thanks bro.

My next question is if this affects the speed in witch the cuts will respond to the change over to 12/12 photo period. Or, to put it another way, will a mum tree that has opposing nodes flower faster than one that already have alternating nodes?

And if i keep a plant in veg indefinitely from seed will it switch too alternating nodes?

The nodes will alternate when the plant is mature enough to flower. Plants will mature While in veg and start alternating nodes. A plant with alternating nodes will start to bud a little faster than one with opposing nodes because it is already mature.
