Will my backyard plants flower?

I put 2 plants out in my backyard garden, thing is on the weekends my neighbors might leave a outside light on and it lights up my area. Not too bad but it's not completely dark. Just wondering how these are going to turn out.

Definetly not good at all, MJ plants need 12 hours of ininterrupt darkness to flower...
If there are light leaks during that period, it will stress the plants, maybe even hermie on you... that´s only my .2 cents tho....

The guy who lives next to me had a couple in his backyard and they flowered but his yard gets a bit more cover and is just a touch darker at night.

I was also just curious about if outdoor plants know the difference between sunlight and artificial light.

once i read that if the 'residual' light at night your plants are getting is enough to allow you to read newspaper print, you are not doing all that great...
the other thing u can do is wait until your neighbors are asleep and spray water from far into their light bulb, it will make it explode lol... that's what a friend did with some street lights that were filtering into his backyard, each time they were replaced, boom again... anyway, what's up with people and leaving some many lights on at night? and street lights? so much artifical light we have forgotten that stars actually exist... they have hidden the true night from us...peace.

As long as the light isnt direct, and it doesnt come on in the midst of their night cycle (say at 3am in the morning)... I think you would be fine. Its never pitch black outside, the moon creates ambient light, and many grow in city backyards/on balconies where its never completely pitch dark with much success. Ide ask Ronley some of these questions, he might know better from personal experience.

I dont recommend to do what Paz says, eventually thats going to draw suspicion, or even worse... they may one night replace it, and watch.... I know I would.

Hot Rod's info although correct is more geard towards indoor growing imo

indeed, i don't recommend blowing the light bulbs up, just saying what my friend did :D how about a garden net to shade the girls during the night?
