Will Ladybugs Fry My Ballast?

I've got the mites down via pyrethrin foggers, but a couple eggs hathced, many more to follow I'm sure. I'm too far along for any spraying direct to plants or fogging, and I think all I can do now is add maybe 20 ladybugs to my 10X13 room to keep the mites pop down. It was never that much of a problem (the mites) but I just want to finish their cycle before they blow up again

My point, do I have to move my ballasts (220 V) out of the room, or cover them in some way? They are Sun System 1's.

Every year my area gets a shitload of lady bugs... I usually capture as many as I can and throw em in the grow room to feast on whatever they can find or starve if I've kept it nice n clean.

I always find them lying on the glass inside my air hood.. never had a bulb die because they got in there. You should be a-ok...just make sure to clean them out, otherwise if you get too many in there, they'll fry and begin to smell bad.

the Lion is going Guerrilla...
Yeah, every autumn we get flooded with Japanese beetles and ladybug/Japanese beatle hybrids. True "ladybugs" that don't bite are pretty scarce around here these days... In my experience they'll eat little holes in the fan leaves... So yeah it's probably best to buy them from a nursery or the like if you're not sure what's up. I'm sure you're getting the real deal for free though.
