i plan on getting a pack of ace seeds, and when they outgrow 1 gal repotting them in the bags of roots organic with the tops cut off the bag

would that be enough ferts for the entire outdoor season?

It depends on what you define "enough ferts" as, when you plan on doing said transplant and a million other things. Literally. A million, brah.

But to answer your question, as long as you don't kill the plant by over watering and/or it doesn't succumb to outside threats, then sure you can bring a plant home without any additional fertilizations using that soil, but you should keep any yield expectations you have with the realm of anywhere from zilch all the way up to a a few zips, maybe.

Good luck.

So after you take them out of the 1 gallon pots you are going to just slash the top of bag of dirt open and plop them 1 per bag?

You would get further with a hotter soil like ocean forrest, but even then your plant will likely drain the soil of nutrients with in a month or so.

I am just finishing up an indoor soil grow using that soil, you probably need nutes. It didn't seem rich enough and plants really flourished when i started watering with teas.

down to earth vegans mix right? how much of all of that do i mix in a 1.5 cubit feet bag? going to grow sativa strains primarily i think

No, your plants will begin to yellow by early flower, especially if the strain starts to flower mid august. This of course depends on when you transplant to final location. If may then no doubt the above is true, however clones planted late june will probably be fine. In any case top dress with slow release fertilizer to get them through the rest of flowering phase.

this is good advice, how much slow release fert do i put on per gallon or pot? i have 5 plants in 5 gallon containers with roots soil only.

it comes in a 6lb box..1 cup should be plenty for 1.5 cf then u can top dress it again right when flowering starts along with some earth worm castings..thats what i like best is sativa strains..im not to much a big fan of indicas

Bumping this thread...so I could do the vegan mix at 2 cups per 1 cubic foot, along with fish bone meal at 1 cup with the LC soilless mix at the top of this forum? That seems to provide a decent profile, but is it enough.

No man that's probably good, most soil mixes people use on here (cooot/boobs mix) equals ~2cups per cf. So 3 should be fine, I would go more for biolife mix from dte instead of vegan mix, it has beneficial and chitosane and ALOT more calcium which will all play huge parts in a successful soil grow, if I were you I would go with bio-live mix instead...
