there's a group around me thats mostly older ppl in their 50's that go out into the deep ass woods and go mushroom hunting..
There aren't any active mushies that grow around me, except MAYBE in a field with horses, ppl swear that they go out and find active mushies in cow fields and horse fields but..

anyways I'm going out on the next trip I'm hoping and i'll snap some pics. My friend who went out said they identified over 50 diff wild strains...sounds so fun

The first 5 times I tripped was off mushrooms we found on COW patties. This was South America tho, and they were large Golden ones that made your fingers turn blue with shroom juice when you snapped the stems. There were also other skinny white mushrooms with black "gills" which were supposedly bad trip mushrooms, so we didn't harvest those. The golden ones were very strong, the first time we made a huge batch of tea and I drank like 3 cups, bad mistake, was high for many many hours, and at one point I got a faint feeling, went blind for like 5 minutes and all I could see were forests of mushrooms of light, crazy feeling..

My father knew a guy (scientist) who would go out searching for edible mushrooms in the wild.
Then one time he ate some poisonous ones and died, true story.

Right now I use this one -

Yeah the area I live in I don't think active mushrooms grow wild even on cow patties. Somewhere tropical like south america on the other hand...
