Widows stay yellow

Hi Guys.
I changed my widows to full strength GH fertilizers 4 days ago - this one;

The bottles are 3 years old and have been ouside in a garden house. Have had some frost during winter, and some heat (probably 25-28c the most) in the summers.
The ph is a bit wild. I lower it every day, but it goes to about 6,6 - 7 every day. I lower it to 5,8 or so. I'm gonna use rainwater pretty soon.

They just keep being yellow compared to the green Jack Herer seedlings. I think the widows are supposed to be somewhat darker green?

Can the fertilizers have taken damage?
If they could have taken some damage;
What is the best easiest fertilizer i could get? It needs to be easy!
If som hydro organic ferts is just as easy i would like that for better taste(does it give better taste)?
I think the plant's growth have stalled just a bit
Also - are these Jack Herers ready for full strength?

Ph above 6.5 is going to cause problems like simple iron deficiency and yellow tops. The little plants don't need full strength ferts. 2/3 strength at most.

hmm, thanks m8. I'll adjust the ph a couple of times a day and see if it helps. Stick with the ferts then. tx

I would junk the nutes going through temp changes will ruin them try to store in a cool dark place, my white widow starts out a yellow/green then the leaves turn a dark green after a couple of days but that's just on new growth

If ferts seperate due to cold, dilute with equal amount of warm water and apply at 2 times normal rate.

You don't need full strength ferts to get good growth. Try 2/3 strength. 1/3-1/2 strength for seedlings. How do these plants get watered? Are they periodically flooded or always submerged.

^^^^^pretty sure he floods and drains on a timer but Full Strength GH always seemed too hot. You using the 3G-2M-1B Veg and 1G-2M-3B Flower GH mixes?

So u guys say it might be overfert??? Yes i drain the thoroghly about 1 every day - sometimes 2 days. They are in 3'x3' rockwool inside the leca in 10l pots. It seem they start feeling better every time i rest plants under fluorsc, (after today the 15bulbs)

Yeah maybe overfert. My flowering girls STOPPED growing and showed similar signs when I mixed the PBP nutes the first time @ double where it should have been (2600ppm now growing fine @ 1800ppm) Did you consider trying the Lucas Formula, my plants always seemed to do well when I flowered with it. Still veg moms and clones w/ Lucas too...

Yes i found out about Lucas formula some time after buying these 3-4 years old ferts. I just flushed them with plain water now, and will give them 1/2 tomorrow. Hopefully i'll see some happier plants tomorrow - ready to grow.

!

!

almost 25 years growing now ...i have never adjusted the ph of my water
especially rain water ...rain water is neutral ! ...never burned or killed a plant

even water with a pH of 8 ..mixed with a soil that has a pH of 5.0-5.5 , with natural buffers ..will always keep you in the range of 6.0 -6.5

Well, i don't think all water is neutral, but the water here is neutral =7 but its' supposed to be 6 to reach a better spectre of nutes. This is hydro not soil

If your GH nutes are the same as I can get (I'd think they'd be the same but you ARE overseas from me right?) you can use Lucas Formula just drop the Flora Grow. 0G-5M-10B for veg 0G-8M-16B for flower. Basically a 1:2 ratio of Flora Micro:Flora Bloom. And I *WOULD NOT* adjust PH daily, even if it is drifting a whole PH/day, set it LOW and let it rise up and leave it be for 2 days between adjustments. PH adjuster IS A NUTE and too much can and will cause lockouts

Oh - that could easily be the problem. I've been adjusting every day. Is that 5ml per gallon??? The bottle's full strength is 0,5 ml/l making a 5ml pr gallon very strong dozage compared to recommended, right? or am i just very stoned from this cartyre hash?

whooops sorry ...i thought only the seedling there was growing in hydro

the only thing i can up with is widow like's alot of light ...so they might not be photosynthing properly ...also do you have an EC meter ??? ...you might want get 1 ...its probably the most essential tool

Asked around if they were okay, and people seem to say they are pretty hardcore them nutes, so just making sure, if they are the problem. Will get new ones fast if nothing gets better the next 4 days
