econo lodges have unsecured but weak connections if you park outside or just go chill in the lounge. sma egoes for many hotels. Walk into an upperclass hotel with a suit and go sit in the lounge/lobby with your laptop and no one will even care because they'll think you're stayin there

lots of coffeeshops now have wireless

google factory password presets a lot of secure wi fi spots never change the factory preset passwords for there equipment from what i here

you can easily crack wifi with a program called aircrack. You need the proper wifi card however. I can always find a hotspot in the city, but they arn't always open.

I live in a house and piggy back one of my neighbors. I pick up five different connections and two are not password coded. A lot of people leave them unlocked.

Peace

Apartment complexes are always good. Most people don't secure their connections, especially if they're not even running wireless. A lot of routers nowadays are wireless, so many people just get them anyway. For every secured network, there's about 5 unsecured networks. Just make sure your computer name is something generic. They will be able to get your mac address, but that's about it. And just for fun, you can always go to http://192.168.1.1(usually the default for the gateway). Most people don't setup a password for their router. It's usually admin:admin or (blank):admin or (blank):password or admin:password as the default (username:password). Getting into the router control is a good way to delete logs if it even logs stuff. Most of the time the logging is turned off.
