why my bathroom is out of order

hi all, this will be my grow journal for 2 aurora indicas and what ever else i come up with..
my veg box is a old dresser i worked over a lil bit and turned into nice grow box its about 16"w x 36"d x 48"h and i am currently using my shower for flower.
the veg box has 3 cfls, 45 actual watt and i flower with 400w hps.. i have 3 bagseed plants in flower now they 4 weeks old and have been in flower for 1 week
on jan 30th i germed 2 aurora indica and 2 DPxSK1. in 24 hours both AI seeds sprouted and moved them to dirt under the cfls, at this point neither dpxsk1 seeds had cracked.. the next day i found 1 of the dpsk1 seeds cracked i then moved it to dirt and just forthe hell of it i put the non cracked one in dirt as well
so right now at this point neither dpsk1 seeds have popped from the dirt yet, but the AIs are off to a great start!! i will post some pics after a lil smoke break!! :joint:

glad to see you made it buzz. wish that dpxsk1 would pop for you. oh well if not, you got those hindu kush, ak-48, and bubilicous to keep them company. i've got you bookmarked and can't wait to start my outdoor thread on IC this summer.

3 indica plants that i got some very good bagseed these are one week into flower




my 4ft shower for flower the light is about 12 inches or so above plants, there is a fan but i remooved it for the pic
i'm using miracle-gro potting mix and plant food and bloomplus

wow i can not figure out how to upload em ....




figured it out ...hehe ...these are my first indoor plants i had a bit of trouble with em so they are not much but the next batch of babies comeing out of the veg cab look so much better i think there maybe hope for me and my tub yet ...........

and thanks buzz for having a bathtub thread for me to put them in :)

they are mostly a x between jimmi hendrix and choco ....except for the biger one in the back left hand corner that is voyager .....and in the middle is on a bubbleberry clone i just put in there today .....the older ones have 1-2 weeks to finsih :)

Cool! I grow in my bathroom, too. I have a really big oval shape bathtub in the corner; I built a 4' x 2' grow space on top and keep the reservoir inside the tub under the garden (I grow hydro). I've got two containers for other plants (a nursery for seedlings/clones in one and a mother area and veg area in the other).

Mothers aren't hard to keep. You probably don't have a lot of space, but it's quite easy to keep a mother plant in a space less than 8" square. Not too much light and low nutes will keep her in slow grow mode; cut her back as needed (trimming roots helps, too).

Before you need cuttings, give her a boost of nutes & increase light levels; you should be able to take cuttings in 1-2 weeks depending on the growth pattern of your plants.

When the mother gets too woody and gnarly, I replace her with a fresh clone.

HI Ambre, thaks for stopping and sharing info, hang out if you like.. since i only have 2 AIs i want to make a mother out of at least one(hoping she is female). even if i get a male i want to keep it to pollenate another plant to keep the AI strain in my posession.

buzz ....if u get a male u will not have to keep him long .....they tend to impregnate everything in sight if u do ....hehe males are like that ....

these are the veggie plants i have right now .....am using 2 125 watt cfls in a 2.5 x3 x3 cab .....as soon as the ladies are done in the tub most of these will be going in there and i have cuttings in the fridge to put in the cab ......am trying to get my timeing down ....indoor under lights is just not the same as out door in a greenhouse so i am learning a lot right now.

river- yeah i would like to know more about keeping the pollen from the male plants , try mixing some strains.. but thats a different can of worms i think

buzz ....pollin does not keep well ....we tried mailing it and it did not work .....my sugjestion is that u have some ladies ready for him .....what i used to do was keep the male in a seperate place untill he started to make pollin then colect some in a baggie slip it over a couple of buds and shake it .....this way instead of haveing all my plants full up with beans i only had a few buds that had beans in them......when i got what i wanted from him it was chop chop :bat:

:wave: Crowmax- out of the 2 i germed 1 did sprout, i stuck them both in dirt and i have yet to see anthing, they have been in dirt for 4 days now i believe..

thnks river, i figure between that and a mother i should be able to keep the AI strain for a few grows. i just wanna get the most out of the 2 seeds that where given to me
