pure fmcd is just trichome heads, no veg matter at all. In fact it is usually one particular trichome head size around the 70 micron size.
A trich head on its own is just a wax containing the THC and CBD. So the wax melts causing the bubbles.

pure kif is a mix of head sizes and some veg matter.

To achieve separation you need Bubblemans Bubblebags and you should find what you are looking for in the GOLD bag.

This is the way i understand it and could well be wrong so hope you find the answer mate.

One thing to keep in mind is that not all strains will melt and bubble. FMCD. Just certain strains will make fmcd. Sometimes the most frosty looking plants will make great hash but it just doesnt bubble and melt. When the hash melts and bubbles normally the hit that it melts on is like all vapors and very very smooth getting you very high but not causing such a cough. After it quits bubbling it makes it more smokey and less vapors and is a bit more of a cough maker

u can make fullmelt without the bubbelbags

i make drysift fullmelt with my 125 mikron screen

and also i have hade fullmelt in my 120 bag and 73 45 and 25 mikron bags
but u are right most of the fullmelt come from 73 mikron bags

i lost most my pictures in the OG thingy but here are some pictures to give u an idea of what can be made without the bags (pls buy the bags they are a must have item)

Yeh,some nice lookin, blow you away strains sometimes dont get ya the FM,its all in the heads me thinks,lol.The pix of the Thrichs up in BT's post of the trich's,if you look(i suck with knowing the names of all the parts,lol) you only want that top part of the trichs,just the ball at the top,not the stalk,theres alot of fiberous matter in the stem that make it burn not melt(and hardly any THC),ive found that just mixin fan leaf with even great trim will sometimes not melt,just that little bit of added crap will make it not melt/stil kick yer ass though,lol, ive also did bogglegum trim into bubble that didnt melt the first time(*i used an electric mixer and beat the crap outta it and it bubbled but didnt melt.The next time with the same batch o leaf, i cleaned the stems off the fan leaves but left them in with the good trim and small buds ,and just used a wooden spoon to mix it and i got FMCD,YUM)its all in the makins/tech's for some strains i guess,i learn alittle more , ie;what and what not to do each time i make it .Hey HB,you better watch out,they can see youre finger print perfect in that melty goodness,lol,jkn .I thought that before/what if i lost a chunk of Bubble that had a perfect print in it and it got into the wrong hands,lol,i wonder if they would try to run the prints .Ive had some and then look and its a perfect lookin print right in the middle of it,so now i always press it with my toes .

i would like to add that...i have gotten FM out of all strains...even strains that are hard to get FMCD i have...i think its all about the starting material...if its cured to perfection(not dry and crumbly)...like bud...having a moisture content of?26%?...helps to get full melt with any and all stains....but there are strains that take it over the top....thats when you have found the true luv of my life...the Full Melt Clear Dome !!!!and yes you can get it by dry screen or water screen....niether is better at that point because its there!!!!....

but for when it doesnt bubble....you can always make a bit of Rosin!!!

dry sifting is just easier for me right now than using my bags as they were intended(water)

Separate them all yeah!. Then investigate in detail the subtle nuances and attributes of each head size and their effects.
