I'm curious as to why you smoke it.
When I smoke i tend to think about how much work was put in to the bud and i smile exhale and take a hit.

so how come you smoke weed? :joint:

I think the real question here is: "Why wouldn't you smoke cannabis?"

It's calming, enlightening, soothing, relaxing, etc....get me a thesaurus, I could keep going.

I stay high 24/7 for health reasons.............................the health of those around me.

THC has this wonderful quality of keeping me off tall buildings with a high-powered weapon.

common sense is why i smoke. Common sense is that its the only "drug" that alters the mind that wont kill me. Alcohol is rotten vegetable water that makes you vomit and bang fat chicks so thats no fun. Most drugs lead to addiction and are really nasty so i havent tried em and never will.

im a misanthropic introvert which means i hate people and like to keep to myself. So smoking makes talking to other people more manageable, with out it i could last about 30 seconds in a conversation before i just tell the person to shut up and walk away. Combine that with years of anger managment counseling at a young age ( on a rage scale of 1-10 , 10 being the worst im a 9 according the the pros) so the herb keeps me calm and from trying to continue my undefeated KO streak.

Besides that, weed just tastes soo damn good and it makes TV a bit funnier

It makes life more interesting, takes away my early-morning back pain, keeps me from getting too irritable, and has put me on a consistent sleep/wake cycle. I love the sacred herb.

I use it medicinally as it inhibits the frequency and severity of the horrid muscle spasms that occur in my back. Any other benefits from the effects are welcomed and a part of the medicines powers.

I use cannabis for religious purposes. Cannabis helps unlock a reality that isn't possible to understand or experience without it's effects. Like the shaman or medicen men, I use cannabis for meditation and enlightenment. There are receptors in our brains specifically dedicated to receiving the blessing of cannabinoids. When cannabinoids are plugged into those receptors they expand our reality and experience to another level that is not possible by any other means. Consider it like a key, and the receptors are the lock. Once the key is inserted in the lock the mind is opened to an additional part of this "reality".

This is a spiritual plant, but is rarely used as such today....it has purposely been turned into a party favor and then demonized as such because of it's enlightening properties.

There are receptors in our brains for opiates too, fancy some? (not meaning to sound rude, just proving a point)

And there is no reason that opiates can not be used in the same manner. As a matter of fact, they have been for thousands of years. (just making a point) The use of entheogens in religion and spirituality is as old as our species.
