Whole House humidifier

Does anyone have experience with one of these:

My house doesn't get above 10% humidity, and units big enough to do my growroom are noisy and don't seem to last very long. They are also a lot more expensive.

I use a whole house humidifier on my heating system in the wintertime here in the great white north where it gets very cold. It's proven technology that's been around a long time. Fairly easy installation. Sounds like you may be in a hotter, desert area; kinda the other extreme. The principle should be the same, but I think a lot of reading and homework would be in order to get the right size unit performing efficiently for your situation.

i never tried to do anything but reduce my humidity.always too high.
the unit looks good though! only 125$?
