wow. I've seen some big rooms but that outdoor ac/electric shot just blew my mind.
i had a pow wow with the plumbers today for my visit. gona have 2 inch pvc main line, with 1 inch thruhulls off the buckets for the feed cycles. im hoping we can flood and drain 50 5 gal pails in under 10 minutes as i prefer the shortest irrigation possible.

You stated earlier that it was going to take about ten minutes to flood 50 5 gals.
I read some where that the plants start to "suffocate" after about 5-6 minutes of submersion. Not stating this as fact. I believe that the plants/roots could be stressed and of course its not fatal. Have you noticed any thing along these lines on your other grows?
hey buddy. very cognizant to detail. lets say it takes 5 minutes to flood the buckets to the top, it will drain in another 2. it doesnt men they will be submerged totally for 5-10 minutes, just the whole flood/drain cycle. we are doing it all diy, so it will take the build and a test to see where we are at. i also add hyox at1.6 ml per litre every 2-3 days, and the extra oxygen always boosts plant immunity, vigor and root health. plus were are going to put venturi's in all the feed line to add extra 02 as well. plus my mixer pump wont be in the rez, it will be attached on the bottom outside and loop around into the top of the rez for total aeration of the solution, d
How many square feet are you flooding at one time? It looks like your trays are 4'x16', maybe.
oops, my answer is in your qoute lol, d
Nice space. Doest look like you have to pass any state or county/city inspections. We could never get away with hanging bulbs with no hoods or the parabolic ones. Everything has to be Code/Fire/County/State/City / ADA compliant UL listed etc. Here is a $500K / 200K HPS grow for a MMC that is a little more like a FDA/USDA grow space. I have seen grows as big as 2000K out here.
Good luck, dont burn yourself on any of them bulbs. I cant wait to see your spot filled up. It will be beautiful.
bumpits a fibreglass polymer, used in commercial greenhouses. il have the brand for you tomoro if you like, d
you call that cold , eh.....lol, ....

Oh, yeah. You American's dont use chillers.
Us Canadians get to use water chillers to cool our grow rooms. Mine is only using 2 amps right now. Ice cold Canadian water!
