When I fill a dixie cup with FFOF and run RO water through it till 10-20% off comes out, I get a reading of 2000+ ppms.
Can anyone do this same test and test the EC? I want to see if the high ppm numbers would translate over to a high EC well over 2, more like 3.
I have plants 4 week into flower that have only been fed once and the runoff still reads 2000+, maybe time to switch soils.
My meter is a cheap HM Digital ppm meter, but it's recently been calibrated. Seems to work fine to me, reads RO at 10-20 and my tap at 200-300..
