I have the dial reads 50% But used to say around 20-30%. the digital one does change though up to 27% even has "high" as 35% when its raining outside (good ventilation).

Keeping your humidity high (like 70%) during veg and the first half of flower will greatly accelerate growth.

Yes, keeping humidity high until the last 2 weeks of flower increases groth speed and makes buds more dense.

Big deal, I'm thinking of a humidifier as well, only thing is where to put it, I think in the veg cab would be good. Or close to the intake of the veg cab? Anyway well see if you get any hits...gl

Another thing you might want to look into is a combination unit. They have some units that come with a humidifier, dehumidifier, and fan all in one. Saves space and money.

What about mold ?? Does it usually ONLY set in in the last two weeks or is it just a situation of risking the higher humidity for better growth ??

Depending on what type of humidfier you get it may or may not generate a little bit of heat. In an open area it wouldnt matter but in a cabinet you could definetly get away with using a reptile humdifier it is basically just a cheap set up with a fish tank air pump. you can basically control the humidy by adding an additional pump if the single doesnt work and there is also a bleader on the intake side of the air line.
