Secret Jardin makes several different levels of tent. I have their 10x10 lower priced model and found it to be very useful but, I did put a pvc support close to the middle to make sure it would hold four reflectors and ducting. They all need little adjustments to maximize the space. Their higher level tents come in a wood crate and are free standing but, cost quite a bit more.
my beef with secret jardin is that they only make square tents, same length and same width... not too secret, who the heck has perfect square as a closet just sitting there in a room?
I've used Secret Jardin for years without problems, so I'll put their name out there. I've also heard good things about the new Hydrohuts, Growlabs, and Sunhuts. It all depends on how much you want to pay for it.
Bobby, here is a thread I started on who makes the best tents.Has alot of good info.I went with the Secret Jardin Intense. Its what you really want.Quality material, without all the light leaks, and other problems you run into with the other lesser tents.Easy setup, and break down. The only reason Im not using mine is bcause Im trying to put a sealed room together.
I'm using the "china" brand..so far have 2 4x4 and a 4x8 with another 4x8 on the way...cost about half as much as the "big names" and so far have not let me down. Obviously the big name ones are better, though.
what about lighthouse hydro tents they seem cheap made in the usa mylar non toxic and very durable the 4 x 4 is a very decent tent i can say that the 4 x 4 was only 99 bucks
Ill put one in for Secret Jardin. Checked out a few other brands at the local hydro. SJ zippers are more beefy and better quality IMO. With a 1k in side a 4x4 in a darkroom i cant see any light leaking out. Peace LL
Ive gone through many tyed of tents and Secret Jarding is the best quality and they use the best materials to make there tents and you get plenty of vents for your fans to run even aircooled light systems.
+1 on all the secret jarden recomendations. I have had many 4x4 and 5x5 and my DR150 is by far superior to any tent I've grown in, add a 1000 hps and an xxl hood and watch the buds crank out of these suckers. I average 20 ounces per tent, 6 plants each.
