The mites will put on little jackets to keep warm. Try safer soap twice.Stoned Silly said:Anyone know .... I have way to many girls growing to sponge wash every leaf so I was thinking of sucking some nice 40 something air from outside, into the growroom at night... Do any of you think this will work? Would 8 hours be enough or should I do a few days.. I figure the plants will be fine as long as they are not frosted airs not that cold here...
my night temps are around 42 outside and 50'ish inside...the mite problem stoped and I havent noticed any ill effects other than blue/purple colors...MTF-Sandman said:The mites will just go dormant with 40f air...the plants will halt all growth and possibly die - so that doesn't seem like a good solution to me. Go with chemical or predator based attach...if you find a predator that will survive lower temps, it will work better since mites don't reproduce very well with lower temps...but I'm an Avid fan personally.
