Who do you think is credited with breeding the best BB (pure bb and Mostly bb hybrid)

Tbh I don’t know why more folks don’t puff more bb across the universe, although it is in blue dream (which I think sucks. ) ... it’s way over commercialized thus way over grown like an invasive species here in Cali with great yields and hi demand. So it be dumb not to grow it for dispensary’s. I don’t t think the flavor is very strong at all or the medical effects.. anyway.

I fell in love with DJ Shorts Indica dom Bb back in the 90’s and I’m really a fuel and I prefer skunk /fuel, dank, mushy funky og/chemmy/diesel/cooko/mothership, c99 type of palate, and don’t like sweet strains except for bb , old time moonshine (bb hashplant by dj short, his grape krush is fire to, bb sativa and I have some bb x ogkush that is also really dank. Best of my favorite terps. I’m weird though.. I prefer them separately so I can experience them both instead of the terps mixing and possibly losing flavor thAt Way.


Im trying B.C. bud depots BB this Summer side by side from seeds I got from B.C. bud depot and also straight from dj and jd short who are both just awesome and amazing people with more talent in there thumbs than the “President “ has in his whole admin... got some pure BB Indicas which where bred by DJ Short and are F5’s so are super stable. I also got a few well bred strains bred by jd Short, . His dad has taught him well from where I’m sitting. Please speak up if anyone has any experience with bb from any breeder even if you just puffed an Oz of it. I’m talkin terps people. And the crinkle recessive deformation mutation

I was a big fan of bb and related lineages and still am. Did a lot of work in the early mid 2000s with dj short bb, flo, velvet, satellite and also breeder steve stuff sweet tooth, shiske, block head etc.

I'm interested to hear about jd short and what's going on there and how to get those seeds as Ive been in prison for few years and now trying to sort the wheat from the chaff, very interested actually to know where to have access to those lines.

In my experience, dj shorts lines were the best bb and uniformly excellent but generally required work to find the plants to your taste and morphological patterns, of course that variability was built in and I was greatly appreciative of it. Pretty safe to say that bb has been shown to have an exceptionally broad and deep genetic profile.

I do remember a quite punchy almost grapey example from around 2003-2005 I got from dutch passion, it may have even been the feminized version from that time hard to remember but I do still remember clearly its odour profile.

I know that in 20 years I've seen relatively few stellar examples because of the work required to find the best and I'm not sure whats flying these days but the best phenos of bb are still some of the best out there.

Also circa 2015, I got some seeds from cannabis culture in Vancouver that were supposed to be a reimagining of original sweet tooth (dj short original bb x sweet pink grapefruit top pheno clone) that I have to say produced some exceptional individuals, ive just started looking again to see if I can get this still in seed.

I have a pack of gg4Xblueberry f4 male done by DJ's son, I love the blue chem I've had so I'm hoping for something similar but with the deeper earthier edge that gg4 has, but man the blue chem was really good
