White Widow

Just harvested the last two of three Greenhouse Seeds White Widow ladies. This is a beatiful plant, dense frosty buds, sticky with thick resin. In the light the frost shines like rain freezing on a rock. Drying for two days, buds have a strong pine chemical undertone with a grape or bubblegum smell left on the fingers.

I am smoking the first one now. Delicious crystal covered smoke, smooth and tastey, with a high that sends a sweet mist floating over your brain with a relaxing, functional result.

The plants were clearly a pure indica, and very vigorous. They leaves were broad and dark and the internodes were tight, leading to a very stocky plant with no need for LST. $90 for the seeds was worth it. The buds e covered with thick white trichomes as promised.

Got some Cali-Os finishing in a week, will let you know about those.

Guys - some more pics from the other WW plant, now with even more frost!

For those that are curious, I grew 6 ladies (3 WW, 3 Nirvana cali-o) under a 400W HPS in a closet in my apartment. It was a chemo-organic grow: I used both inorganic and organic ferts: PBP line for organic and some MG Bloom thrown in the flowering stage for massive growth. I used 3:1 FFOF to Perlite. I will have a grow diary up soon with pics of the cali-os still in the grow room, as I have not cut them yet (will do at about 11 weeks flower).

This is White Widow by Greenhouse Seeds. I am not affiliated with them in any way but I really think they run a quality show over there. Here is a video with one of their latest grows:

I grew white widow inside, outside, & I'd grow it on the corner next to Starbucks if they'd let me. It's very good, got a real nice up-rush that stays with U.

yeah I like that video a lot. Watched it like 3 or 4 times already. If I had 12K watts like them maybe my yield would be a little better but I think I got at least 1g/W.

Guys, here are some pics of the dried California Orange Bud. In the last shot you will see the yield from one plant. I had 2 other cali-os plus 3 WW under a 400 W HPS. I was quite happy with yield.

yeah those guys are very entertaining. Talk about having a grow dialed in, they produce these monstert plants.

They do say they are the orginators of WW, you heard right, but who knows. Doesn't really matter, I was extremely happy with what I got from my little 400W grow.

Nice looking buds Unknown one, I have white widow also but it is from White Label Seeds(sensi Seeds), I have heard almost nothing but crap about Greenhouse so i Avoided them but your product seems pretty nice, Only thing i hate about Widow is the lack of taste and the more earthy musky smell. Widow is nice but I gotta get somthing with more flavor, how is the Cali-O whos it from? does it really smell/taste like oranges? Nice grow Take care and stay safe.

Hi SmokingGlass, thanks for the reply. I am not sure where you heard bad things about GreenHouse but they have an excellent rep from what I hear and from what I have seen they are probably the world's best breeders. They created all of these famous hazes: Arjan's Haze, Super Silver Haze, Neville's Haze.

I know what you mean about the WW. It is definetly a pure indica. The smell is not so strong but like piney and diesely. It is a body high, like most indicas, relazing and stoney. But it is a great plant.

The Cali-O was great too. There was more variability in the phenos, which I have come to expect from Nirvana, as you get what you pay for, and supposedly they use F2s. But for $15 you can't go wrong. They high was more sativa, heady, awake high. The smell was very orangey, like dried orange rind in a potpourri bowl. I would certainly reccommend it, but not among the top strains, still a very famous and solid producer.
