White Widow, Blueberry, Skunk #1 - First grow, 400hps

Thanks Loki! Nice of you to stop by :tiphat:

QWISO is a Quick Wash in ISOpropyl. It extracts the thc from the plant matter in about 30 seconds, then you have to string it and let the alcohol evaporate/cook it (carefully, it is flamable afterall :) )

The end result of this wasnt very good; sure I got a little high, but it was very mild and lasted 30 minutes tops :) I didnt expect much from that amount of immature leaves though :D

Nice plants Guff. I thought you had a nice bit of hash there too bad it was weak. You'll have a bit of priomo stuff in a few weeks. Those buds are sure starting to get thicker! Right on man have a great Saturday. Grey & raining around here today. One of my plants fell over sometime last night!!! Piss me off but nothing snapped and it was my fault so poor me.

Sup there Guffetrold, I must say ur doing very well for your first grow. As for supercropping well I reckon its great. I use it like you said to control the height but mainly to spread the plant out to cover a bigger surface area. By doing this you will cause the plant to release auxins (growth hormones) making more budsites which most importantly will get an even amount of light due to flat shape of the plant.:gday:

Looking good man. I would say to not be shy trimming that lower larfy scruffy stuff off though man. It won't get as much light with that 400. I learned the hard way. That bent stem recovering pretty well?

Thanks for all the kind words :)

PB: Wat, one of your plants fell? I hope it wasnt BB? Lol :) Just kidding, what happened ?

Benjuan: Thanks for the Supercropping input. I think I maybe did it at last possible time, because the stems have really started to get thick, hard and.. yeah wood up! Im very happy with the results, especially after the trim :)

who_dat_is: I dont know what happened, I just couldnt stop once I removed a few :D The plants seem to dig it. The supercropped stem have gone from about 90 to 45 degrees, so it has almost healed up completely (getting thick and hard to 'bend' up:) )

On a side note, I found out about my 6th sense today! Took a little nappy a couple hours ago (missed a text and a call from my girlfriend) but woke up exactly at lights out (had to close and seal the room) - I swear, the click turning off the lights, woke me up. The plants are speaking to me! 'Guffe, wake up, wake up, we need to sleep!'

Erhm.. Maybe I was a little high after all :D

Naw Guff don't worry about your precious "BB", it was safe under the other light. What happened? Well lets just say if you know you should set a plant up a bit better, do it right away don't smoke a doobie first cuz you may forget!!! Anyway all is cool.
Your's are budding up nice now eh, you gotta be smiling. Watching the results of all the training you've given them has taught me alot for future grows. It's worked out great eh! Yer doing a great job man!!!

Thanks for all the comments guys. Its nice to know you are doing something right :)

Here is a 3 day comparison from a Skunk bud:

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, the girls are on day 31 of 12/12 and things seem to be picking up :)

I had have some deficiencies, still unidentified (for me at least, lol) you can see it on the lower leaves. The plants overall seem good though, so dont know if I should do anything.
Also fed a plant a tea made of molasses, aspirin and epsmom salt - unfortunately i fcked the recipe up and used wrong stuff. The plant dont seem to mind though..

Here are some pics :)

Widow front left, Cheesy Skunk behind and Crazy fast Skunk to the right

I also decided I might as well try and do some cloning, cause I really want to save my Skunks. One is just crazy fast and fattening up way quicker than the others, but the smaller one has a cheesy smell to it, so I will definately try to keep that one as well!

Took 3 Skunk clones 2 Skunk (cheese) and 1 White Widow only (couldnt find more:( )
Used rockwool cubes and clonex solution.
Put them in this ghetto setup for the time being. The light is a 110w 6500k on for 24/0. This is only an experiment so I dont expect them all - if any - to root, they are just so small! but i hope :)
Also you can see the Eldorado starting to take shape. This one started 12/12 from seed, but with this new light, I found a place for her in the closet. Thought I might as well give her a decent veg time and once the 3 mothers are ready to harvest in a month or so, I will move all the rooted clones and the Eldorado to the tent to veg a bit before flower.

Holy shit Guff you are kicking ass man. "First Grow", you mean 1st grow in that room or something??? Awesome stuff, cool cloning technique using cups for the dome. A friend clones flowering plants all the time, not this long into flower though. Keep us updated man. Right on!

Looking good man you sure know how to grow :)
Next time id recommend a scrog setup, perfect for that tent i think!

Going to be interesting to see how those flowering cuttings will turn out :)

Looks like you did some research before growing, very good! Makes everything so much more simple for everyone :tiphat:

Good luck!

:tiphat: Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated :) I love the idea of scrog, so hopefully I will get to try it next time. The only thing i worry about is how to suspend the net :)

Thanks! I reeeeeally hope I can keep them to root so I can keep the genes - I really want to try and get more of the Skunk I didnt top, she's getting a pretty fat cola, but nowhere near the yield of the topped I think :)

A few mixed pictures:

Topped Skunk with 8 colas. Shes crazy awesome! That's a pretty nice calyx-to-leaf ratio!

Single-cola Skunk - Im thinking she might have a more nutty smell, rather than cheese. Smells really good!:

And the Widow. She's a bit behind:
