I would rather spend a few hundred on a select phenotype topshelf clone, that a consensus thinks is the best, if no pests, diseases, molds, etc., than roll the dice with seeds. I am old and rather pay someone to find the best. If you want to see insane seed prices, look at copycats. They have baseless claims of upto 45% THC.

I am not a seed person for over 8 years. Doesn't S1 narrow down phenotypes to around a few dozen instead of thousands. When GG4 came out everyone was selfing it, and none were as good, from what they posted. Crooked has the clone itself.
Oddly enough, ive never found an s1 that i felt was truly identical to the clone. Often times super similar but just a little different. Ive experienced the gg4 clone vs s1 seed first hand and they were pretty starkly different. The s1 wasnt near as hearty and had lankier structure. It ate more but seemed overall looser and there was more gas to it. It smoked nicely, but different for sure. Anyway that beleaf dude is legit. I just ran into some herm issues with a pack and told him about it. Showed him photos etc. he sent me a pack of nicer beans and doubled the amount. Very good customer service and all of their shit is top shelf.

Let me start off by staying I don't cheap out on genetics when they are worth it. I have dropped over 250$ on 10pks fem before but seeds going for 300-350$?? At this point the seed companies make 1000x more than growers do.
if you want it.. buy it..

everyday we all spend so much more dough on less meaningful things ..

another expensive poly hybrid could be fun

Nah I don't, it's more of the price gouging going on for seeds. When will it stop

200-250$ is absolute max an even then it's pushing it. 100-150$ for top genetics is about where I drow the line.

White truffle is a gorilla butter phenotype. Gorilla Glue x Peanut Butter Breath.

Doesn't seem too difficult to recreate as seeds and clones available of both.

Can't see paying that much for just another cookies og cross. Hopefully people start working with other genetics.

Smoked some Ritz Carlton yesterday and was offered a cut for a lot of money. The strain was all hat no cattle. Looked great, loud, tasty, lacking in effect. No thanks

I had beleafs WT clone but culled her after a few projects.. IMO the Beleaf Chimera#4 Clone has more to offer as breeding stock so I kept her instead. My fav plant at the moment was made using WT... Destiney F1= White Truffle x A5haze bx x Mac.

WT aka Gorilla Butter F2, AKA Monkey Butter =Gorilla Butter f1 x Gorilla Butter f1. Gorilla Butter=Peanut Butter Breath x Gorilla Glue #4 f1. I can't determine which pollen was used. Both are listed last depending on where I looked. The pollen used should always be listed last. Fresh Coast Seed Company made them.

These prices have always been robbery, but the prohibition profits made it manageable. When no one is making any money, and there's really no limit on plant count for a lot of these growers, these prices are unacceptable. I see folks posting with garbage cans full of seeds from a haul but they're still charging $10/seed?

Don't pay $30-35 per seed for an S1. Shit is nuts.

Wow still $10 a bean with a garbage can full , if you mean James I seen him with 10 garbage cans full so that is crazy $ to still charge $10 a seed.

Although some strains produce a tiny amount of seeds making it not worthwhile to make if charging normal price .
Although I like to stay at $90 a pack apart from some S1's that produce 90٪ less seed than normal so I do charge double price for that strain but over 100 varieties at normal price
