Oh gosh is this mold or mildew? That would be bad!

Some of the spots are white but have a brownish rust rim, and some are just brown. It seems like all 4 of the plants are affected....

Now im thinkin maybe its a calcium def?

Greetings

Since I created this hybrid..sort of..I have alot of experience with Bogglegum.

Can you get me a bit more closeup with natural light?

And this is under a 400 watt? moved from CFL?

And its only 8 inches from them?

is that right?

if it is, move it about a foot and a half, that is what i do with BG, and BG does not like her wet, let her dry out between, humidity is a little high also, BG does not like that, and the buds will rot if she pulls through, trust me I have run this BG #4 And #9 many times and its very prone to it.

You are using Miracle Gro soil? yes?

If it is like the other MGs I have seen they dont need much in the way of nutrients for a bit after they are planted in it.

Did you go UP in pot size when you went into flower?

are there lots of roots coming out the bottom?

can you lower the temp or humidity?

I started noticing this problem a little before i even flowered them, very small spots at the time.

I will let them dry out and will water less and less frequently.

They have been in those 1.5 gals for bout 2 weeks, so i know they have root growth room. No roots coming out the bottom.

I can lower temps but i cant lower humidity, i will click my exhaust to a higher setting.

My air flow is very good, i have a cool tube and negative pressure in my cab, with alot of passive intake holes.

Im thinking this is maybe calcium def (they have never been given any cal-mag) or maybe (i hope not) mildew or mold? I hope not the latter.

Okay..even with cool tube I have had the problem moving from under my CFLs to under the 400 watt that the light ITSELF is justa bit too bright.

not HOT, bright, and I can really get BURNS on my leaves if there are any WATER DROPS on the leaves with the move from CFL to 400 WATT.

This is common, the DROPS act like little MAGNIFYING GLASSES and can burn leaves.

its common in the greenhouse trade, which i have been in.

I am not saying this is THE problem , its just a heads up.

If they have been showing this problem before the move you may be right on deficiencies, BOGGLEGUM was one of my heavier MICRO NUTRIENT wanting plants, but this early on..I am not sure.

I would still be a little bit wanting to move the light up a bit a 400 watt can be easily over a foot from the plant, if you look at the PENETRATION SPECTRUM of 400 HPS/MH I actaully have them [little plants ] about 2 FEET away and it does not have any NEGATIVE effect.

I continue having problems like you are having myself, not EXACT but like it, I am hoping it is not a virus, as the problem seems INTRACTABLE..but usually a virus presents with different symptoms.

and they are relatively uncommon.

ASK MYNAMESTITCH.

THere is almost no one better ...not to downgrade anyone else, there are many VERY GOOD GROWERS here.

many much better than I.

Ive already PMed stitch, i think shes been away for a while.

I never foliar feed so i doubt its a water spot problem but maybe.

It looks like a watering issue and a micro deficiency existed at some point probably from the alkaline water source you used in the beginning. The nutrient problem looks like it's been resolved judging by the healthy new growth shoots.
Make sure the roots are a lot lighter in weight before watering/feeding. They need to be thirsty so they can feed properly. And when you feed, be careful how much you feed at a time. If the pots don't seem a lot lighter after 4-5 days, you are watering too much at a time. Since you added an extra 1/3 perlite the weight of your pots should drop significantly between waterings. BTW, I recommend skipping the lime next time. Lime is already added to commercial potting soils. A common mistake. Especially when using water with a PH higher than 6.5.

I think you are dead right on my alkaline micro def problem kraken. I will def let my plants dry out and def water less next time. Tanx alot.

Are you getting the water/solution you are watering with on the plant itself when watering?
Have plants with identical marks, that i believe is due to this. Tried to be more careful next time i watered and no problems since.
