white specks on bud

Hello,

I just bought some bud for $60/eighth. I noticed some white looking specks all over it and inside it...I know this might could be mold..not on the little stem. It's not real stringy and doesnt come off when I brush it. Ive smoked some and im pretty stoned. It seems if it's smoke at such a high temp it would kill the mold if it is.... but I dunno. Could I cook out of it and be alright?

I seriously doubt mites... Ive grown my own before and got several oz stolen by a friend so I quit growing. I cut off small pieces of it that didnt have any mold and rolled a jay. It's incredibly potent weed just white specks.... im soo pisssed.

Glass spray... that's almost as bad as the hardener they put into their soap bars... what's up with the UK and putting shit in the weed... Not saying anything bad about the UK just seems that's where all this... amended weed crap comes from....

It seems if it's smoke at such a high temp it would kill the mold if it is.... but I dunno.

If it's a mold...let me clarify something about the above burning/heat question.
The health danger is that as you inhale off that joint or pipe, that mold/fungus spores will be inhaled into your lungs, causing a possible and very "horrible" bronchial infection with accompanying illness. The joint or bowl is only burning on the tip, but you are inhaling accross the unburned live spores.

Ever hear of "mushroom lung" ?
Give it a google, it will scare the hell out of you.

Could I cook out of it and be alright?

You can make a batch of cannabutter with no fear or danger.
