white slime on cuttings

Been running a bucket cloner for the past 2-3 years, and this is the first Ive encountered this.

Have 20 cuttings going (in there for about 5 days), and 2 or 3 of them have a white, mucous like slime growing on them.

The cloner itself is (or should be clean). It was disassembled and thoroughly cleaned recently, and in between each cloning cycle it is run with hot water and h2o2, followed by bleach and hot water, and finally copiously rinsed.

The other clones look fine so far. SHould I just ditch the ones that have slime on them (dont want to unless I have have to as they are from a plant where the mother no longer exists) ?

What is the water temp? Any bacteria can grow quickly in a recently cleaned reservoir.
Keep the temps down. Ice cubes or Ice water bottles.
Think about adding hydrogen peroxide to the water to kill any slime.
Last resort- you could throw them into some light-soil and hope for roots.

Temps are ok...they stay around 70 dg or so...

just added H2O2 to the water last night. Final conc. was 0.75%. Is that enough and do I need to add that every day?

I replace my aerocloner every couple years. u can never clean every nook and cranny in a pvc manifold. I also use hot bleach water in between runs. I wouldn't risk it clones are a dime a dozen, start fresh with new cloner. just my opinion. good luck!
