White S1 grow show

Hey all :tiphat:

This thread is gonna be dedicated to my indoor white S1 grow. I'm currently running 1000w in the flower room and 400w in veg using fox farms soil and GH organic nutes. I've had one successful run under this setup with the white s1 seeds I got from seedbay and this is the second run from clone with the potential keepers I found.

From the White s1 seeds I managed to get 5 unique pheno types, with 4 being potential keepers. Unfortunately the one I really liked was kinda short before flowering and I wasn't able to get any viable clones but fortunately I was able to get it to reveg and it should be rdy for clones in a couple weeks! So in flowering I currently have 2 of all the phenos(except for one which I have 3 of) for a total of 7 plants. These plants vegged for about 1.5 month from clone, topped at the 3rd node and are in 3 gallon pots. I put them into flowering 2 days ago.

My flower room is just a basic 3x4' room I built. It's running 1000 watt HPS with a 6" inline fan thru a can filter and 2 6" passive intakes from under the house. Dehumidifier for dark period humidity control and oscillating fan I modified and screwed to the floor. Veg room is about 3x3' and is running 400 watt metal halide with a 4' inline fan, 8' intake from under house. It's empty right now because the clones are still rooting.

I've tried many different growing methods and I'm loving fox farms and GH organic line right now for the ease of use and quality of product it produces. I use fox farms ocean grow all the way thru, floranova blend every other watering in veg and floranova blend, bio bud, bio thrive, molasses and calmag in flower. I stop using nutrients about 1.5 weeks before harvest.

My goal with this room is to eventually find one main keeper plant to focus on and run around 12-20 of those in 3 gallon pots. Basically however many 3 gallons will fit into my room. I think nearly 1.5-2 pounds should be possible with this room and strain imo, I just have to dial it in a little better and maximize my space. My first harvest with this room was a little under 300g which was actually pretty surprising all things considered!

Anyways hope you all have a nice day! feel free to tag and follow along I should have frequent updates.

Little update-
Flowering for 6 days now, starting to get pungent and show the first sign of flowers :woohoo:

Just a little back story so this isn't to confusing haha, i started with seven seeds and labeled each plant with the name of the seven dwarfs from snow white so that's where all the names come from :)

Group shot of room

Dopey, short and bushy pheno that yields some very primo bud. Probably the most potent of the bunch(they are all similar in this regard tho) but it seems to be a calmag hog and is slightly susceptible to PM. Still not sure on this one but I'm keeping it going for now.

Bashful, This guy and the next one sneezy are pretty similar in growth pattern(somewhat lanky and bushy) but the smoke is slightly different and this one yields just a tab better. Definitely a potential keeper at this point.

Sneezy, like bashful but different haha and this one is a little more susceptible to hermie as it had the most seeds at of all the plants(probably about 10 out of 2 ounces). Probably gonna cut her after the next round or 2 unless he really surprises me this run.

Grumpy, wasn't sure about this guy at first because he's so tall and lanky but I like the smoke, shes a good yielder and I think she would have been a lot better if I let her go another week or 2 last round as she seems to lean more heavy towards sativa out of all of them. gonna let her go a little longer this round and see what kinda danky dank she produces :)

That's all for now :tiphat: stay safe folks! :)

around 2 weeks flowering now, coming along very nicely :plant grow:

I ended up pulling both of the Dopey's due to some slight mildew issues. I could have salvaged them and probably treated the mildew as it's just a couple small spots but I would rather not deal with the headache and stick with plants that have some resistance to it like the others. I moved those to my outdoor plot for now but still not sure if I'm kinda try to keep it going or just trash it.

It's kinda odd this one has decided to start getting mildew now, last run only one plant from a different pheno got some slight mildew at about 50days flower, dopey went 57 days without any mildew. Now he's getting mildew in veg and outdoors haha. The original one who got mildew is right next to him outdoors and has no mildew while dopey is getting small spots on the lower leaves. strange....

Sneezy, this guy could definitely end up being a keeper if I can control the slight hermie issues. Perfect structure and she does very well with my choice of nutrients/soil.

Bashful, This gal is starting to take off and stretch a lot, not very branchy just lanky. This one definitely has potential, similar smoke and yield to sneezy without as much hermie problems.

Grumpy, this is the lankiest and most sativa leaning. I wanna let this one go another 2 weeks this time past where i Harvested last time. I really think that will improve the yield and smoke tremendously.

Happy reveging along nicely, should be rdy for clones in a week or 2 :woohoo:

Stay safe folks! :tiphat:

3 week update, everything coming along as scheduled :woohoo:

Little rant haha, I'm not really digging FFOF and the GH "organic" nutes. I guess if you're looking for ok results with the laziest/easiest method than it's definitely the way to go but I'm not really looking for that necessarily. In my last grow I did LC's soil mix with tea's and I liked it but I wasn't too fond of constantly mixing up soils and makings elaborate teas haha. I read bobbles high brix and the recycled living soil thread and those both have me thinking I wanna go with a living soil bed style grow as I was already interested in brix and that makes sense from what I've seen in my tume working on organic farms and through personal research. Plus I've been wanting to start my own compost and worm bins for outdoor gardens so this gives me even more motivation.

So the bashful and grumpy plants in the bunch have both stretched like crazy and are nearly 3 feet, sneezy is about half the size and a straight up bush. Because of the size discrepancy the taller guys took a little beating due to under watering, nothing too major. I just got some sea-crop to play around with that and watered with that last nutrient watering. After one application the plans definitely looked physically better, especially the taller guys who had a little droop from under watering.
