Hello.
I am currently growing:
4 TFD Original Haze,
2 Dinafem Blue Hash,
2 Dinafem Cali Hash,
And 2 White Russian seedlings that are struggling badly and look like they will die unless I do something fast.
The plants are growing in a Homebox L (1mx1mx2m).
The 2 White Russians are a week older than other seedlings.
Only the 2 White Russians are having problems, all other plants in the same tent and same soil mix are doing great.
At the start BOTH WRs looked good, but then on one of them, the tips of the leaves first curled down and then purple color started appearing on the leaves. This started from the bottom and worked its way up to the top. New growth is also getting affected by this (at the very tips of the leaves). It starts from a very tip of the leaf and spreads from there towards the base of the leaf.
In approximately a week, the second WR started showing the same symptoms, leaves curling down (not as severe as on the other one), purple discoloration on the contour of the leaves. Now all the leaves except the very top ones are turning pale purple and BOTH WRs are looking worse by the day. No signs of recovery.
All other seedlings I have are still doing fine.
I tried flushing, waited for results but nothing happened. Then I started giving Bio Bizz Bio Grow nutes (seedlings were at least 2 weeks old at this point), but that also didn’t help. I am at loss about what to do, please help. I filled in the appropriate form for the SOIL growers.

What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?
(Unbranded) Flower soil – 30%
Coco - 36%
Vermiculite – 18 %
Compost – 15 %
What Nutrient's are you using?
Bio Bizz Bio-Grow
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*
I drip around 4ml of Bio Bizz Bio-Grow in a 2L bottle from which I water the plants. With nutes I water only a bit – little run off. I use approximately 2/3 of the 2L bottle for the 10 plants I have and discard the remaining 1/3.
How often are you feeding?
Every 3 rd – 4 th watering, once every 2-3 days
How often are you watering?
1-2 times a day, but a little. Not much run-off
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?
Last feeding was 2 days ago.
What size bulb are you using?
600W MH with digital ballast
What is the distance to the canopy?
40 inches (1 meter)
What is the canopy temperature?
82.4 F (28 C)
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)
Day 26C – 29C
Night 17-20C
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
320 m3/h (188cfm) – Grow area is Homebox L (1mx1mx2m)
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ?
The inline fan is hanging at the top, inside the Homebox, sucking the air. Exhaust hose runs out of the tent, out of the room where the Homebox is and into a corridor with good airflow, so warm air does not build up there. There is adequate ventilation in the entire house due to some open windows. I have 2 out of 3 intake holes open at the bottom of the tent. The fan is on full power 24/7.
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
There is no fan blowing directly at the plants, I am getting one ASAP.
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist?
I allow the top of the soil to dry up and the pots to become lighter before I water again. It is possible that lower down in the pot the soil is always wet or moist. I had some drainage problems at the start, and the water still takes a while to drain through the pots.
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
I use tap water. I would say it is pretty neutral; it definitely does not appear HARD. Tap water here has no chlorine added to it.
Are you using water from a water softener?
No, plain tap water that was allowed to heat up to a room temperature.
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched?
No
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when?
No
Are plant's infected with pest's?
No
