White Rhino 2014

Still have these seeds, still loving growing this strain. I don't remember where I got the seeds, its been many years, but recently found about 1000 sitting in a container. For being at least three years old, and second gen inbred to itself, they took approximately 2 days to crack, put into soil, and about a day later started to sprout.

Using a 4 foot, 8 tube fluorescent till they get about a foot high. Photos pretty self explanatory. When I'm done posting these beginning pics, I'm going to pull out the digital microscope and get a closeup of a seedling just for the hell of it.

i tried white rhino from greenhouse seeds 5 pack got 2 seeds too germ got 1 male and female

Grow room pretty stark. Its just a spare room, and wont be getting decked out as a grow room. Will have a 1000 watt HPS, and about 10 femailes. No mylar, no nothing extra. I learned a while ago that minimalist is best for emergency teardowns, in the unfortunate event that there needs to be a one hour teardown..

For those that don't want to wait, here's the White Rhino strain in 3 1/2 to 4 months, according to the last time I grew it.... it kicks your ass, but the bubble hash from the side buds throws you on the floor, even after a couple of months of becoming immune to the bud.

On your White Rhino, How long do you run it? I know from experience that it gives a pretty heavy stone, so I was planning on choppin some early, about 30% cloudy. And letting the rest go as far as I can, for some sleeping meds.lol

I've only grown it indoors but have pretty much exclusively grown White Rhino for the past 5 or 6 years. I keep the light intense as soon as they sprout so that they don't stretch, and wait until they are about 1.5 months old and pretty rootbound in the size of cup shown. Then put them under 12/12 and sex them in that same cup. Usually within a week I have the males taken out, and transplant the females into 3 gallon pots where they stretch out about 2 1/2 more feet and give me one huge arm sized cola each and four smaller (but huge) buds. And make bubble hash out of the rest of the plant. Total height might reach 4 feet at harvest. and always in slightly less than 4 months from sprouting.

There's definitely ways to get more yield, like maybe a 2 month veg period or 2.5 months, but I'm lazy and thats just more risk.

Harvest day, the shit smells up the block. I had my ex tell me she could smell it down at the corner, and that was with a 50 pound carbon filter running. When its growing the carbon filter contains it though.

What does this strain smell like? I have a Blue Rhino (white rhino x bb) and s1's it, found a very nice (although doesn't exhibit resin on fan leaves) pheno that smells of lime and berries, very,very sour. There's a deeper chocolate/wood/leather smell that kind of showed up from the f1 that was selfed but it hides behind the lime/berry sour. Another s1 from the same stock was really heavy on the chocolate berry smell. Maybe from the BB?

I might have to self the f1 again to find the same lime berry pheno with the deep undertones except WITH copious amounts of resin.
