Welcome! This is my first grow journal here, and I look forward to exchanging knowledge with everyone! I’m just a single plant hobby grower, but you can check out some of my past grows in my post history. I’ve found doing only one plant allows you to focus all your attention on it to get great results. So sit back and come along for the ride…
We will be growing White Nightmare fem by Sin City Seeds. It leans sativa and is backcrossed so we should be getting a nice pheno out of it.
I subscribe to the Cocoforcannabis school of thought, it’s written by Dr. Coco, a university professor in horticulture who grows by the science. So far I have had great success with it.
Method:
High frequency fertigation (feeding 6x per day)
Auto water system
Royal Gold Coco, added 30% perlite
3 gallon air pots
Manifold (topped twice)
Scrogged
Nutrients:
Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco
Sensi CalMag Xtra
Rhino Skin (Si)
Sensizym
Big Bud Coco/Overdrive (PK booster)
Bud Factor X (chitosan)
Equipment:
Mars Hydro FC 3000
Apogee PAR meter
AC Infinity fan/filter
2 pumps and timers
Gorilla Grow Tent 2x2.5
I know people dunk on AN but I don’t care, I like trying new things. I’m going into it completely objectively. I have used GH and Jacks 321 in the past. They all have their pros and cons.
I had a little deficiency in veg that I made a thread on, but I’m 99% sure it was due to bad nutes ordered off Amazon. I flipped almost 2 weeks ago and the switch to fresh bottles of the bloom formula stopped the deficiency and now I am honestly getting impressive performance out of it on all fronts. I’m impressed. This is literally the first grow where I haven’t had deep purple stems (not the normal genetic purple).
I just added a second net to help deal with the stretching. The first net is where I flipped, so you can see the growth. Starting to get more pistils. Any day now the buttons will start forming Will be starting the Big Bud tomorrow.
