White bumps (fungus?) on lower stem and climbing up!!

What is this, please tell me its not bad...

(I posted these pics in my thread in the growers forum too, but no one likes to respond on my thread there don't know why, maybe they're too wordy, or too picture'y...or is it cause my pictures are uploaded on a 3rd party site?)

Near the base of the stalk? When I first started reading about MJ I read that the white bumps near the base of the stalk, are actually like salt excresions (spelling lol).

Just little roots bumps developing, it's all good.

i thought it was root bumps until i saw it start to get higher and higher, then i thought id better ask. consensus seems to be its all good. thanks!
